  1. Like I say I've watched plenty of Hamilton games too. I don't think they are as impressive as Falkirk have been ie - the eye test has been applied. Not just looking at a table.
  2. Unfortunately for you thinking of doing a Hamilton and just not putting the effort in.
  3. Based on my instincts on football? Assume this is quite a simple calculation of xG vs xG against per game, but Wyscout's xPoints algorithm thinks you're almost 12 points better off than you should be too.
  4. By comparison Edinburgh last season were overachieving to be sitting second at new years. I don't expect you to maintain the same level of point scoring. I don't expect you to fall away as dramatically either but I think currently your points in the bank is painting a 'false' picture.
  5. I usually put the games on Wyscout when I have a quiet Sunday. In terms of minutes watched I've probably watched more League 1 football than anyone but the most keen analysts.
  6. I wouldn't have given a penalty but I wouldn't have booked O'Hara either.
  7. Can only echo the comments that Hamilton are overachievers. It was galling to lose out on the first meeting and today it was just as sore not to come away with a win. Rode their luck heavily with some of the chances they conceded and didn't ask us an awful lot of questions.
  8. Sensible rule when you consider having players who know they won't get paid, who are free to leave in January and will likely go to competing clubs leaving a big question mark over the sporting integrity of any games they play in.
  9. Get this floating in the north sea the forth Leith docks and you are sorted.
  10. Think everyone saw this coming after your previous boards comments about a year ago when you were sitting second. The new guys come and but can't leverage the money they thought they could and end up in the same position as the previous guys.
  11. Doesn't matter if Hetherington's fit anyway. He's suspended. Expect Miko will slot in.
  12. There's generally always a recall clause too in January like with Offord or Zanatta. I'd fully expect them to go back to their clubs but they've both played for Killie and St Johnstone so can't go on loan to anyone else. Unless they feature in the first team plans we've hopefully got a decent chance of getting them back. I don't think it did Offord any favours sitting on the bench.
  13. Generally there's a clause in the agreement that either says we need to give permission or the player is not to be played in cup competitions. Bobby Wales and Taylor Steven were getting sub appearances for their parent clubs and presumably in later rounds than we will be they might need players. They want to keep the option open. Henderson was part of a big Hearts squad and they clearly didn't see him in their plans for that season. East Kilbride were out so they weren't bothered about Ally Roy for this one.
  14. Tbf to him I don't think he's going to be fit any time soon. I'd be off to sunnier climes if I could too.
  15. The assessment comes from the ground staff if they can make the pitch and surrounds safe in the space of 5 hours. They've got plenty of experience of doing it previously and know better than anyone else. The forecast on Friday morning from the BBC was for us to dodge the snow which often happens. If there was more warning I'd imagine someone could've been in earlier to work on it but hindsight often comes too late. Pitch certainly had more than an inch of snow and the roundabout area was a skating rink despite both being gritted the night previous. FTFY Annan, famously full-time, will have a hotel booked to ensure they are in the best position to take points against us and won't be travelling from the borders. There is a new manager, a club legend taking the team now. Nicest guy you'll ever meet and you are insinuating the club are passively trying to sabotage his (and their own) potential success? There's a really hopeful energy from the past couple weeks, despite the potential blip of the Edinburgh game. I was speaking to Robbo and Hetherington on Saturday at Dunbar and I asked if it was difficult to have Andy go from one of the boys to their boss and the reply was: "It's Andy, it's easy." He'd run though brick walls for the team when playing and they'll do it for him as manager. That's the energy around the place.
  16. Not a clue tbh. Wayback machine shows a wasp badge for UWS in at least 2005 although the design is slightly different. Probably whoever designed ours just copied the design and cleaned up the lines. It does annoy me slightly about our colours. The one that is trademarked is this: But the SPFL and SFA have a washed out blurry yellow
  17. Rosenberg - Leverkusen played at -15°C. Last night Helsinki Aberdeen at -5°C. Temperature is not as big a deal as precipitation and we often dodge snow.
  18. Just going into the rabbit-hole looking as I'm reorganising my streaming stuff. Looking at the OBS settings and there's a setting for a meridix sports. First event I look at...
  19. Sammo and Neill also ex Motherwell if we're going for the complete list.
  20. Happy with a) an away game b) a new ground. Just Kilmarnock and Bonnyrigg in the current 42 now to chalk off my list.
