Met a couple on holiday, the woman was David goodwillie's auntie. She'd never heard of him being called "badcock" before but she thought it was quite funny.

This. I cleaned up about 3 pairs of adidas for going on holiday, made a sugar soap mixture up, scrubbed them with a hard brush, them removed the excess water and dirt with a sponge, and them wiped them with a damp cloth, and left them to dry over night. Came out just grand. I've a pair of handball spezials that got covered in paint that I couldn't clean, but I'm going to contract a guy on facebook that does restoration stuff and see if could re-dye them for me.
