  1. It isn't - it is just as valid as being a Fifer or a European - indeed on here folks keep telling us that Britain is the island we live on and the various peoples on that island are British
  2. Nor about your Scottishness either as you already intimated - you just 'am' Scottish (and British)
  3. SPFL Player Regulation 65 (Expiry / termination of Temporary Transfers) “On the expiry of the term or other termination of a Temporary Transfer, the Registration of the Player concerned shall revert to his transferor Club or, as the case may be, his Football club: (i) where such expiry or termination occurs outside of a Registration Period, on the first day of the next succeeding Registration Period; or (ii) where such expiry or termination occurs during a Registration Period, on the date of such expiry or termination.“(emphasis added) The effect of this provision is that a ‘loan’ Player who returns to his lending Club on early termination of his loan agreement is not eligible to play for his lending Club until the first day of the next Registration Period. The only exception to this is where an exceptional order may be made by the Board,
  4. Loans must be window to window - you can cancel the loan and bring the player back during the loan but he can't play in first team match until the original loan expiry date. He could though play for your u20 team or reserve team
  5. A Farage like level of input. The reality is that just badmouthing Britain doesn't really play that well with Scots who have no problem in being both proud Scots and British at the same time. They are not mutually exclusive - and many people are in that category. Thus you won't get them onside and are creating divisions rather than building any consensus unless you recognise that and adopt a more inclusive approach rather than Braveheart/UDI bluster.
  6. It was I thought supposed to be anti-Westminster but now it's anti- English and anti-pensioner - no more edifying than the views of most of the politicians in recent times. I have no respect for bullying, name calling, spin supposedly in the interests of Scotland - it just isn't and only creates even more division.
  7. Maybe they didn't like the attitude of people like you and went for the lesser of two evils
  8. Unlike you I think pensioners are perfectly capable of making informed judgements based on a range of information and experience.
  9. I am afraid Scotland and the UK would not be a better place without the BBC - not everyone sits with their Labour, Tory or SNP bias-o-meter pointing at the screen waiting for something to come along that they can seize upon. Once the BBC is gone we can enjoy supremely bias free media options such as Sky, the Express and the National. As for the brave souls who take their stand by not paying the licence then the rest of us including pensioners have to pay more thanks to them.
  10. Mainly because he can't come back and play in the 1st Xi I would guess
  11. Maybe depends on the type of language used in said argument though!
  12. Sent off for arguing with a spectator - Dougie told me that himself after the game
  13. So Cox, Renton and Buchanan all suspended for Saturday. Mullen still out - Swann don’t know how bad his injury was
  14. The BBC biased against Tories, Labour, Scottish Nationalists, DUP, Sinn Fein so at least it is getting something right
  15. 2 minutes to go Robbie scored for us and players went to get the ball out of the net - wrestling match and melee ensued. Referee for some reason spent about a minute blowing his whistle non stop to get players to stop fighting over the ball - never seen anything like that. Then he booked 4 players 2 from each side and then before we kicked off again he also gave Dougie Hill a red card for arguing with a spectator. That then led to yellow cards for Brechin manager and coach for arguing with him on the sidelines. Then game restarted and Kris Renton trying to keep the ball from rolling out tripped a Brechin player and got a second yellow so was sent off - last two minutes was the best bit of the match!
  16. Not sure what home or away has to do with it really
  17. Davie Cox has a 3 match ban that is only suspension
  18. 11 v 10 should obviously be dominating possession
  19. A reasonable summary - on the keeper front I think Queens clattered him a couple of times early on and Queens I think had the first two bookings so I had the felling they had come out with a plan to get stuck in.
  20. The facts are that Cowdenbeath had 7 players booked - two were for challenges on an opponent - of the rest 3 were for unsporting behaviour and 2 for delaying the restart of play. Queens had 6 cautions - 5 of which were for challenges and tackles on an opponent and one for unsporting behaviour. One player each was sent off due to violent conduct.
  21. He didn’t deliberately kick anyone though
