Fortunately, in considering their position, HMRC will adopt this approach. Much as I'm growing tired (and wary) of speculating as to what will happen next, I'm as close to 100% about two outcomes as I'm ever likely to be: 1) There will be no CVA; 2) If Rangers exist as an entity in any form, and it is a facility that is available to them, ALL the SPL chairpersons will vote in such a way as to permit their direct entry to the league. The SPL will adopt the safety in numbers approach. They'll circle the wagons and ensure that no-one is too vulnerable and can get picked off. This is the harsh, and thoroughly unpalatable reality. The only outcome that could see Rangers either all but cease to exist or drop down the leagues would be if the revelations yet to come are so incendiary, that the authorities have no option but to be seen to act (ie - if UEFA start to flex their muscles and force the hand of the SPL and SFA). A truly awful display from Hibs. Disgraceful. Their supporters deserve better. At least when we lost to 9 men Rangers we had put in a decent shift despite the shocking end to the match. To watch your team stroll about in such a clueless manner in a Scottish Cup Final. Incredible. The Hibees will be desolate after that and no wonder.

Not sure where I stand on this one. My uncle played for Hearts back in the day, so some connection there, but Hibs are due this, even with Leigh Griffiths in their team. Tough one, and I might be a genuine neutral. I'm pretty envious of you guys, it has to be said, though I wouldn't want to be having to stomach the defeat come 5pm either way. Over on B&WA, a guy has just posting about watching West Ham v Blackpool today as he has no interest in the cup final if Saints aren't in it. WTF? This is a big game today for Scottish football. I hope it all goes off peacefully and is a great game for everyone to enjoy.

Have a great day folks. It will be absolute elation for one set of fans, and devastation for the other, but thats what makes the cup final so memorable. As others have said, it is magnificent that neither of the arse cheeks is involved. This is an opportunity to demonstrate just how good the Scottish football landscape would be without the bigots.
