  1. I went to live in the woods after Emma Thompson jetted in from LA to Britain to tell us to watch our carbon footprints etc etc.
  2. Mediocre busker at best. The lassie that lives across the road from me is a big fan. She also like Love Island. I'll leave it at that.
  3. 8-0 to Wade. Daryl will just have to take that one on the (super) chin.
  4. Got home to find my wife had left a note on the fridge that said "This isn't working I'm going to my mum's." I opened up the fridge. The light was on and the beer was cold. I have no idea what she is talking about.
  5. It sounded to me as if he was caught on the hop and just said the first thing that came into his head. Could be completely wrong though.
  6. Unless NL is lying, which I suspect might be the case.
  7. It's scary that folk that watch keech like Love Island get a vote.
  8. Just drove through Brigton and Dalmarnock and on seeing some of the flags I did have the same thought. Fingers crossed.
  9. Me too auld yin. Reckon Fergie might pack a decent enough punch for his age but I should be okay after his health scare.
  10. I was meaning she shafted them by not allowing as many as possible to relocate to Britain and shamefully it wasn't only Tories who agreed with her on this, though a special mention for Paddy Ashcroft who strongly opposed her.
  11. They would certainly have preferred British rule to Chinese before the handover.. Saying that, after Thatcher shafted them, Britain wasn't exactly flavour of the month there.
  12. Bieber is 30 years younger ffs. But my money would still be on Cruise.
  13. Somebody should explain to him that being able to batter your wife senseless doesn't mean you'll be any good in a boxing ring.
  14. 1970s for me. The original Suspiria, Wicker Man, Exorcist being just three of many favourites. Then things went downhill in the 1980s with the rise of the slasher.
  15. Wow, not bad value for money either way.
  16. Bloody £2.50 to see the Cure. Hope those support acts were good.
  17. Never knew that United were after a midfielder that gives the ball away for no good reason every time he plays. And prepared to shell out £50 million on him. I do quite like McGinn but even by the Sun's standards that is a mental story to invent.
  18. When was the last time the BBC didn't rave about a headliner? And the chances of them slagging off a black British rapper headlining for the first time were always going to be non existent.
  19. Thought he was trying way too hard to please the punters myself. As for Sportsound, heard Yogi talk some mince then Leanne Crichton come out with some bland, predictable comments, as per, and decided to switch off. A wise move I reckon.
  20. I've just smashed my old 45 copy of Johnny Beattie's Glasgow Rap in response to this. #fucksnop
  21. Aye, a good old fashioned Glasgow boozer.
  22. At the time I thought most of those bands were pretty average and musically conservative, nowhere near as good as a band like Massive Attack. Compared to most of the stuff I sometimes have to suffer at work nowadays though, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic for the Britpop era.
  23. Hope he's not too knackered to give that girlfriend of his a good seeing to tonight. He deserves it. And she's like a young Penelope Cruz. Would love to see Murray teaming up with Lopez again.
  24. Quite enjoyed the section I heard earlier. Like the fact that the Scotland women's teams were rightly criticized for losing a three goal lead in such a short space of time against a team that were ranked significantly lower than them, pointing out the men's team would be slaughtered for doing the same. Much better than the patronising being done elsewhere. And the talk about the Under 16s World Cup thirty years ago was good stuff too.
