Tbh Clyde are no more than a parody and been stinking out the place for too long now. A nothingness that BSC can only aspire to...

They had Bonnyrigg vs Talbot last season and it was pish, flat as fk. Don't even think the fact it was at Falkirk made a difference. It was just embarrassing having to choose a side due to segregation as it felt like a preseason friendly. I don't know what the answer is, but it's got potential to be an amazing competition if teams actually bothered -
My theory.... Alonso knew he would lose a lot of time, but not 2nd place by running 1 lap on the slicks in the hope red bull panicked and done they same for VER next lap when the weather would be WORSE. Then by the time Alonso pitted for his inters, VER would still be reversing out a barrier somewhere on the Meds... VER's crew almost gave him slicks but he made it clear he needed inters and Alonso's plan was ruined

If it was a mangy dug, it would have been put down by now...

He's actually completely lost it now! I really can't tell if this is written in irony or not....

Are we about to witness an even greater implosion than the Great Berwick fallout of 2019 after their relegation? Ask them. They love talking about it...

Reckon the crowd at Dunbar will be mental, they've already averaged decent numbers this season. Coldstream is always good for a game if the weather is favourable. Nitten vs Glenrothes could be 7-6 on current form, but will probably be 0-0

Meanwhile... EoS Div 1 - last day

As much as I would love “the good old days” and being in the middle of a 4000 crowd inside there for a big game, it would only take 1 problem where someone gets hurt and everyone will be screaming from the rooftops about safety. Hopefully they can get it sorted so they can increase the capacity as the ground itself is more than capable of handling a couple of 1000 or so -

I think the main problem with Pollok was the Entry/Exit situation. There’s only 2 wee holes in the wall for the turnstiles at the opposite end of the ground from the main terracing with little space to move behind the goals towards said exit… so in an emergency, it’s going to be a bit tight. I do agree that 900 is a bit low but I can see why after seeing the ground with 700odd inside -

Why? It's the West end of Edinburgh, not 2 regions aways Meggetland is probably easier to get to than most places in West Lothian for any of these teams with the transport links, plus the ground is top notch -

I think we just need to look and learn from the previous examples. I was more learning towards "let them all in" a while ago, but seen what can happen if this is allowed to continue. Gartcairn, Bo'ness Athletic, Tweedmouth, Drumchapel, Bonnyton, Rothie Rovers, Easterhouse, Campbeltown, Inverkeithing, Burntisland, Leith Ath, Edinburgh College Rossvale, OG Broomhill, Syngenta, St Cadoc’s, Edinburgh South and the jury is still out on the other new clubs I'm probably missing a few but out of all the new clubs recently, you can clearly see the difference in the infrastructure and development priority of these clubs. Some are in it for the long haul, while others probably have good intentions but are flying by the seat of their pants. Also Letham have genuinely been working towards getting their sh!t together off the pitch and looked brilliant on the pitch so hopefully they can make it through the honeymoon period -

I just feel integrating them into the leagues is dangerous. That's why we have an amatuer setup... You just need to look at some clubs having to play coaches outfield and not fancying a trip to Campbeltown... Amatuer stuff by a club who are charging (or should be) admission to watch a kick about in a sports centre -

All teams have temporary ground issues over time, just look at Fir Park in the SPL recently. Dalry, Royal Albert, etc were bumps in the road and the clubs are CLEARLY working to resolve them. The Camby situation, KRR and Rosyth are more complicated... But these clubs have played around 250 seasons without any hassle before then. They need dealt with, as much as it hurts to think it will kill Rosyth. Some of these new clubs are just taking the piss though -

The East learnt from the Edinburgh South mistake when they told Letham (who are a much further on than Ed South) to bolt as their ground wasn't ready and the league only had the usual assurances that it would be brought up to standard... Apparently this Div 4 was only a temp measure and ONLY the clubs who actually had a proper ground sorted would be allowed full membership, but it seems the league bottled the aggro and just gave everyone a membership. I did ask at the time but was completely ignored by the people in the know -

Would this not just create a "junior league" full of fly-by-night clubs playing out of sports centres who are 'trapped' at tier 7-9 but happy to pound the league every season and stay where they are. While long established clubs with proper grounds are left a level below having to play these teams every week... -

I know you like to defend new clubs but you are just knit-picking now. Name 1 'established' club who's ground is so poor that their status in the league system should be questioned? -

It was WoS clubs who accepted these clubs into the league, they were all given a vote so they only have themselves to blema for 2-3 of them in Div4. Only Rossvale were a follow-on from previous mistakes (that clubs clearly didn't learn from!) The East were the same accepting Edinburgh South. It was a ridiculous decision to allow them in without any sort of plans in place and only the usual "we aim to have..." pish. Syngenta were a hangover from the East Juniors allowing them into the leagues, while the Rosyth situation is just a disaster for everyone involved and I take no pleasure in saying the it needs sorted ASAP or Rosyth need to seriously look at their status in the league system -

All clubs who don't have a suitable ground but have been allowed in by the league need to be given a time limit... St Cadocs, Finnart, Edinburgh South and Rosyth are all on borrowed time for a range of different reasons but this nonsense needs to stop OR a proper plan in place where the ground criteria is stepped up from tier 7-10. I fear this will just cause a false ceiling with amateur clubs topping whatever league they can play in without any intention of moving forward infrastructurally
