  1. As originally suggested, with only low and no nicotine juices available, it was a viable plan. Which is what happened the second the profit motivation came into it and big tobacco then started buying up vape companies. On the whole, based upon standard levels, about 14 vape puffs equal a cigarette in terms of nicotine…but the rate at which people vapes seems massively faster than they smoked cigarettes. Almost every smoker I know that switched to vaping very quickly switched to customized vapes that had much larger juice tanks, higher capacity batteries and a higher nicotine level juice. When I asked them about it, it was always a “better value” to buy the higher level juices, “more nicotine for the money” was how they put it.
  2. Looks like @P and B Official Hamster’s home. Music is not my forté. No, Sir, I cannot,
  3. When Amazon was just starting to be more common to use, I hadn’t started using it and needed some really OTT shoes…so I went to a shoe shore in a less than safe portion of Dallas (right off MLK Jr Blvd…which in any ‘Merican city is a pretty reliable indication of a rough address)…and after I bought the shoes, the matronly lady behind the counter said “Honey, you came down HERE just to buy them shoes…you one dumb Honky…haven’t youse ever heard of Amazon?”
  4. So Sim as Marcellus Wallace, JMcG as Vincent Vega, and Paul Smith as Jules Winnfield? I guess that leaves Barrowman as Mr. Wolfe, Steve MacDonald as Jimmy Dimmick and Bill Clark as Marvin?
  5. The anti-stab moniker is used for some mines with either a much more easily tripped by a probe (hence the term anti-stab) design, or some form of a motion sensor added on. Basically, instead of the mild risk of probing directly onto a trigger that requires a 5-15kg activation force, the modified design makes it much easier to activate the trigger via either probing or the anti-tamper elements. It’s a deterrent to clearing, and generally also teamed with anti-overpressure elements in the trigger unit. It’s quite simply designed to resist clearance by means other than detonation as designed.
  6. The Russian use of anti-stab designs has reduced the use of this technique by de-miners…when it’s all you got, you take your chances.
  7. Sotomayor and Kagan support the 2nd? What are you smoking? They support regulation and the vision of the 2nd as applying in a limited manner, not the expansive crap that Scalia has injected into the veins of the Conservatives. If you’re relying on Voisine et al. vs United States, where Sotomayor joined Thomas in dissenting, it was simply the matter of the definition of the necessary acts to trigger prohibition of a right to own a gun…arguing that reckless, in a criminal matter, is an in sufficiently high standard. Otherwise, Sotomayor has been solidly anti-expansion of gun rights. In Maloney vs Cuomo, Sotomayor was one of three justices ruling States can control guns. With regard to Kagan, she was responsible for drafting an Executive Order, under Clinton, restricting the import of semi-automatic rifles, and has a long track record of opposing expanding gun rights. She has spoken about DC vs Heller being improperly decided. Finally, Republicans own guns at over twice the rate of Democrats…57% to 25%.
  8. The 11th Circuit Court that overturned her is one of the most Conservative Circuits, and it eviscerated her rulings in a reversal unlike any seen before. They took a sledgehammer to her arguments and rulings, reversing every last one. Now, as for they wouldn’t elect him again…check this survey:
  9. Yes, Sonoma Chipmunk, Eutamis sonoma. The strips on the face are the giveaway. https://www.nps.gov/muwo/upload/Muir-Woods-Wildlife-Checklist.pdf
  10. And the Russians shelling people trying to evacuate…
  11. Maybe a chain link cage like in the Blues Brothers…stops the flares/smoke bombs from the pitch…kinds protects from the North Stand, and vice versa. In actuality, the entry/exit will be interesting.
  12. The smarts of mentioning “meet the squad” with all the recent chatter about our new signings…it’s all the little stuff they seem to be getting right that’s so confusing here. Show up, clean a wee bit, help the team and feel involved…and you know it’ll be chatted about to others. Yes there have been plenty of volunteer days before, but even this seems a wee bit better arranged.
  13. Surely I’m not the only one looking at the costume, the “Age 5-6 years”, and back at the costume wondering why it has a large fuzzy penis sewn on?!
  14. He’s got an MMXR-3221 in there…that’s what he’s hiding!
  15. I’m just wondering why he turned down a Premiership slot…is he concerned he wouldn’t be a starter at that level? He’s too young to be thinking that, surely. Maybe he’s heading back south? Just tossing out a name…it’s already worked a few times.
  16. Customs will impound the guns and give them knives instead…plus cute little kilts.
  17. Given that a bunch of firefighters, they didn’t have a gun.
  18. They’re quite nice, but the away top makes me think Q*bert…still like, but distracted.
  19. Trump indicted on 7 Federal charges…first fund raising email out within 30 minutes…court date Tuesday.
  20. Any word yet where Ryan Sweeney is going now he’s left Dundee? Also, Jordan Marshall left Dundee, a LB, would let us keep Dick at CB…not ideal, but a thought.
  21. Watching the cat, with two paws firmly in the receipt box, kicking back legs alternately to try to get them into the box, but not quite high enough to make it…like some mad reverse can-can dancer.
  22. Getting the word the judge has signed the Final Decree…it’s far from “over”, but legally it’s done. Amazing how much better it can make a person feel, for being so f**king expensive with (literally) nothing to show for it.
  23. Yea, I find it amazing the quantity of vape smoke these folks let out. And thr sweet, sickly smells of some of that juice. The ex tried vaping once, and was sitting inside doing it, and I’m like get the f**k outside, this is even worse.
  24. The first day is always difficult, and for some every day is the first day. Regardless, you can did, you have done it before, you will do it and go forward. You know the problem, you’ve identified the issue, and you know the answer…you’re ahead of the game. Stay strong.
