  1. Of the players that are actually ours I would keep Morrison and that is it. The rest can find a job outside of football. Go on Sammon
  2. What a fucking god awful squad of players we have again. When the f**k is this going to change, absolutely scunnered with it.
  3. We look absolutely done in here but this ref is gash as well.
  4. Didn't think that was a pen, too close to Miller to do anything about it. Credit to Mutch for the save but still think we need an experienced keeper in the squad for next season.
  5. No matter what league we are in next season we need an experienced keeper in.
  6. We looked comfortable and now look nervy as f**k.
  7. I didn't think Mutch covered himself in glory with Peterhead's goal the other night and that there was fucking awful.
  8. Watched the one minute highlights for the first time and whilst the defending was absolute shite Robbie Mutch didn't cover himself in glory either. Stuck to his line and basically done heehaw.
  9. If they can get us a squad of players that aren't shit and to start playing decent football again they will get my backing. We just know for a fact that whoever it is we will get fans of previous clubs coming on to tell us how shit they are. Mind you for the past 4 years when we have signed players and fans of their previous clubs have told us they were absolute gash 99.9% of the time they have been right.
  10. Thinking outside the normal tried and tested I wonder if Lee Bullen would fancy a crack at being a gaffer. I haven't a clue what kind of wages he would be on looking after Sheff Wed U23's but can you imagine they players coming off the field after putting in a shift like they did at Peterhead the other night. He would eat the c***s.
  11. I think we would be an attractive proposition to a lot of managers. Reviving Falkirk would be decent for someone to have on their C.V. I know there is risk attached but if you are an out of work manager who has maybe worked at a bigger club surely working at us and taking a punt on getting us back to a decent level is worth the risk. I have no insight on what we would pay a manager but it has to be better than no wages at all. Advertise and lets see who applies.
  12. These folk can't surely be watching us regularly. 96 mins against p.t Peterhead without a single attempt on goal. No disrespect to Peterhead but a group of 11 lads from the Grangemouth Summer League would put on a better show than that.
  13. He was certainly happy to sit and chat away to us which was good.
  14. I was quite surprised by him. We talked to him during the lunch for a good 20mins and he came across as quite a quiet spoken, nervy guy. I couldn't have imagined him losing the plot at players when things weren't going great or commanding the respect of senior pro's.
  15. I remember when I spoke to him he didn't have a single good word for George Craig as we also discussed the treatment of big Craw.
  16. I agree it was a crazy decision. I feel the board should have acted quicker in getting rid though and should have left him where he was doing a decent job with the youths.
  17. To be fair to Eddie May he didn't want it. A few years back I worked at a recruitment fair ran by the SFA at Hampden for young players who were being released by clubs and pro's who were nearing the end of their careers. Eddie was there and me and my fellow Bairn gaffer spoke to him for a wee while. He said he was happy doing the youth side of things and felt that was where his future lay, the board and especially George Craig pressured him into taking it. He said he realised pretty quickly it wasn't for him.
  18. I agree totally with this. If my memory serves me right he buggered off as soon as he got the chance. For me legend status is for the likes of Crunchie, Scott McKenzie, Big Craw Baptie who played a lot of games for us or players of outstanding quality like Stainrod or Latapy. I suppose it's all about opinions though.
  19. 18 of our own and up to 6 loanees if required. If we can't get a decent squad with that then we should chuck it. We need a gaffer that can sign the right players and not a gang of hopeless shite.
  20. A squad of 18 of our own players instead of 22 of our own players like what we have just now plus using the full quota of loanees would be sufficient. Ffs we have 5 strikers on our books, we are a league one side. For a start cut that to a maximum of 3 and get in utility players that can cover a number of positions. Get quality instead of quantity and stop signing a load of absolute shite.
  21. 18 of our own players, but better quality and then use of the loan market better would work fine I think. Instead of a squad of 22 of our own players like we have at the moment but the majority of which are shite and kids who apart from Neilson look out of their depth and not ready for first team football. We have players in our squad who have hardly kicked a ball all season and have you wondering why they were signed in the first place. Just noticed this is your first post. Are you Lee, David, Gary or maybe Martin or Superfan have got the Grandkids to create a P&B account.
