Unless we get another 2/3 players in I can’t see it happening, hope I’m wrong.

Telfer was the stand out player on the park for me. I feel out of the four with McGuffie, Nesbitt and Morrison he is the pick of the bunch. I know a lot say he is inconsistent but for me he has to do a lot of the link up play he wouldn’t have too if we had a combative box to box midfielder in there with Jacobs who could break up the oppositions attack, give it to Telfer and let him do his stuff.

I agree, I don’t think changing managers all the time helps us. I was angry after yesterday and said I didn’t see much improvement in the team but on reflection that mob pumped us 6-0 not that long ago and they are still hamstrung by having a large quantity of Holt/Sheerins duffers in the squad.

That’s a worry for me. If Rennie is only here until the summer, we are going into next season with another new manager who is going to have to rebuild the majority of the squad again. At the moment it looks likely we will still be in league one. The new board have a huge 5/6 months ahead of them, they have to get these decisions right. If we don’t go up do we retain full time status, if Rennie leaves we have to get a manager capable of assembling a squad to get us out of this league. I don’t envy them this task but I pray to god they get it right.

To have any chance of reaching the play offs we need a ball winning midfielder and another striker. Without these additions I fear we will come up short. Nothing so far suggests this squad could compete with and beat the likes of Airdrie, Montrose or whoever finishes second bottom of the championship in the playoffs.

Hate to say it as I want Rennie to do well but I’m really not seeing much of an improvement in our team.

Telfer and Kabbia have looked decent for me and that’s it, the rest are either shite or meh at best. Don’t know what Rennie sees in McGuffie.

Yeah instead of the 3 with 2 attacking wingbacks, also our midfield are sitting right on top of them as well.

5 3 2 isn’t working with these players and if Rennie sticks by it he will be going the same way as our last 4 managers, he has to change it.

We just look shite again, midfield, defence are hopeless, we are such a poor team.

Perhaps the on field performance is also having a bit of a dampening effect. A few decent wins combined with good promotion could see a big jump. We are in the doldrums at present and I know that's when we need to band together but life is not like that I agree with this but I also feel that years of bad decisions by the board has really left a lot of fans feeling detached from the club. I will be at my first home game since we got relegated on Saturday but I will be alone. The other 6 people that I used to go with, 3 of whom were ST holders have either lost interest or have found other things to do on a Saturday. The new board have a lot of work to do to get lapsed fans back and a better product on the park could help with this. I also however agree that a lot of families are feeling the pinch financially at the moment and the pending gloom of energy rises, mortgage rates going up etc means they are tightening their belts and maybe just don’t have the cash.

I stayed away from attending games due to the regime in charge of our club as did others, but to stay away because of a rumour is daft.

He’s surely a better option up front than Wilson or Ompreon, even off the bench. It’s all about opinions but I just feel that there is nothing between the 4 previously mentioned players, they all offer the same and are all inconsistent. Morrisons final ball is horrendous and his finishing isn’t up to much.

O’Hara would offer another option for me. Telfer, McGuffie, Morrison and Nesbitt all offer the same.

I would take that I would swap either of Telfer, Nesbitt, McGuffie or Morrison for a front player as there is too much of a likeness with the four of them.

Probably go Morrison and Nesbitt in a 442, mins you Morrisons distribution is woeful. I would maybe stick with the 5 at the back and play Jacobs and another ball winning midfielder who can actually pass with Telfer sitting in behind the front two in the no. 10 position in a midfield 3. I would prefer McCann and Williamson as the two wing backs in the back 5 with Watson, ATS and Mills in the middle.

I would probably go Telfer, there’s not much in it but I feel he’s more likely to create something than the other two.

We need to add another midfield player that can win the ball and control play. Rennie needs to pick only two of Morrison, Nesbitt, Telfer, McGuffie and get someone in there with Jacobs to do the hard graft stuff. We also need additional options up front, even from the bench.
