    I thought it looked like the ball just hit the Airdrie player and he couldn’t do much about it, didn’t look that clear that it was his arm. Defence is definitely as soft as shite.

    Video on YouTube of the 3 Airdrie goals from Saturday taken from the back of the goals. They highlight how bad our defending was and how Brad McKay didn’t look like he could give a shit. The third goal was absolutely howling by Paddy Martin and there looked f**k all wrong with the disallowed Airdrie goal.

    Liam Craig would be a great signing at this level, as previously commented though not getting too excited as probs won’t happen.

    Morrison won’t do as a front man, far too wasteful. We have to start taking our chances and he is just not clinical enough.

    Scunnered with all this DG shit, I’ve emailed the board and put my vote to the FSS poll. Many have made their feelings known on here and to the club. Honestly don’t see the point in folk going on about something that might never happen. Going to give P&B the swerve for a wee while until the transfer window is shut.

    I’ve voted in the poll but the fact the FSS are doing this makes me think that the club are seriously considering this which is a worry.

    If there is a choice here I would take Lafferty every day of the week. Lafferty the person and Lafferty the football player would be a better choice in my opinion than DG.

    By all means email the club and express your concerns, I have. I don’t see the point however in all of us here arguing about something that might never happen. Just my opinion though

    I’m not on FB or twitter or anything like that, disappointing that there are fans who are in favour of signing him. I’d rather stay in league one forever than sign him.

    It’s not happened yet, I’ve emailed them but I’m not going to go OTT until it does. For all we know they may have no intention of signing him and haven’t officially commented as he is still a contracted Clyde player.

    There are posters on this site who know board members, patrons etc, surely to feck they know how signing Goodwillie is going to go down with a large number of our supporters. They can’t seriously think it’s a good idea or good for the so called “community club” image they are building.

    I remember being at Broomfield during the Jefferies era, think it may have been the Sammy hatrick game. I was standing near the segregation fence in a new khaki quilted bomber jacket when a pie flew over from the Airdrie fans, bounced off the head of a boy standing near me, covering me in mince and grease. The jacket was fecked and never the same again

    When I had my meeting with Colin McFarlane which was pre the q&a I suggested the board should keep Holt out the way of the fans. He wasn’t liked and there was no way it was going to change after the q&a no matter what he said. He tried to crack jokes at the q&a which may have been a nerves thing but he totally misread the feelings of the audience. The bottom line was his recruitment record was abysmal and for that he had to go.

    When you look at the league table and how far we are behind, the previous board, management team and Holt should hang their heads in shame.

    To be honest, the only thing that would keep you awake at TFS would be the cold, it certainly wouldn’t be the scintillating football.

    The majority of our team struggle as to whether they should kick the ball or eat the fecking thing. Data analysis will be lost on them.

    I remember that being a question to Sheerin at the q&a, if he thought we had the players to pass out from the back at this level, he said he thought he did but think he has been proven wrong. The way our defenders look on the ball I would be telling them to get it as far away as feck from our goals at every opportunity.

    I’m 100% behind the new board and I do want more updates and communication but I think I would have just let Wilson slip back in quietly. Just my opinion though.
