  1. Banbury United 2-2 Farsley Celtic @ Spencer Stadium . National League North. 3pm kick-off on Saturday. The visitors looked to have secured a comeback win but it ended honours even after an injury time equaliser for Banbury who were then reduced to 10 men . Really good ground. Crowd 678.
  2. Yes Ramsay has had some pretty serious looking knee surgery. Maybe make pre-season? Doak back with a bang on Saturday for the U21s.
  3. A few familiar faces and woolly hat in there Tam !
  4. First up on Saturday ticked another one off the 92 ... Coventry City 2-1 Sunderland @ Coventry Building Society Arena 🏟. 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday and the Sky Blues pick up 3 big points in the EFL Championship promotion race. The very impressive Viktor Gyokeres ️ with what proved to be the winner. Crowd 21,437.
  5. Personally never really got the fuss about John Motson either. Might have been knowledgable but never really made the games exciting like Brian Moore did.
  6. Ah good stuff Connor. Broomhall were impressive on Sunday pretty dominant display. Could see why they were 2nd. Oxgangs bottom been a bad season for me then.
  7. Oxgangs Trinity 0-8 Broomhall FC @ Colinton Mains Park . LEAFA Sunday Morning Championship. 10.30pm Kick-off. The 2nd placed visitors with 4 goals in each half secure a convincing win. Fair play to Oxgangs though who battled hard against a strong side. Crowd 13.
  8. Cracking day out on the train yesterday with Crow Junior for Newcastle United 0-2 Liverpool @ St James Park . FA Premier League. The visitors get off to a flyer after a brilliant early Alisson save with Nunez ️ (10) & Gakpo ️ (17) with Nick Pope then red carded preventing a likely 3rd (22). Plenty of chances at both ends but no further scoring. Crowd 52,271.
  9. One of the best days out in the Premier League proper ground. Arsenal imploding.
  10. Edinburgh University 3-1 Northumbria University (AET) @ East Peffermill. BUCS Aldi National Trophy QF on Wednesday. A tight game came to life in the last 1/4 with the visitors levelling minutes after Edinburgh had made it 1-0. The hosts won it with a goal in each half of ET. Crowd 12.
  11. Bonnyrigg Rose 1-2 Stirling Albion @ New Dundas Park . cinch SPFL League 2. The visitors ahead after only 4 minutes but shortly after surviving a missed penalty the Rose deservedly levelled (83) only for Stirling to snatch it in the last minute. Excellent crowd of 873.
  12. Banned by Tottenham ... surely he should be made to keep going!?
  13. Hibernian Reserves 1-0 Dundee Reserves @ Hibernian Training Centre . SPFL Reserve League. A very early strike from the home team proved to be the difference between the 2 sides. Hibs saw a late penalty very well saved . Crowd 70.
  14. I still think they will comfortably finish top 3. If Chelsea or Liverpool can get their acts together then could see Newcastle get reeled in come May though.
  15. I thought watching it back Pickford was laughing back too as well. He knew full well what he’d been up to ‘taking his time’ every time he got the ball at 0-0 and Robertson took the chance to get one back. Coady then came steaming in trying to impress the Everton fans and it kicked off a bit of handbags.
  16. Boroughmuir Thistle 0-5 Celtic @ Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday. Women’s Scottish Cup Round 5. The holders ahead in the 1st minute and, although the home side battled hard and had a couple of chances, they ran out confortable winners to reach the Quarter Finals. Crowd 235.
  17. I headed along to Edinburgh Eagles 20-30 Saddleworth Rangers yesterday in the Challenge Cup at the Royal HS at 1.15pm so just headed after to ... Spartans 3-0 Edinburgh University @ Ainslie Park Stadium . A very comfortable 3 Lowland League points for the title chasing home side. 1-0 up at the break, 2 more followed in the 2nd half and only some good saves from the Uni keeper prevented more. Crowd 150.
  18. Man City fans booing the Premier League anthem.
  19. Over 1000 Carlisle fans down in London yesterday fantastic support .
