  1. Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 Liverpool @ Molineux Stadium . The home side got off to a flyer, 2-0 up after 12 mins and then end Liverpool’s attempts to find a way back with a third goal 19 mins from time. Great 3 points for Wolves who continue to pull away from trouble. A terrible Premier League season for the Reds continues. Crowd 31,664.
  2. Edinburgh Uni are very consistent programme issuers. Only 4 pages these days it used to be more but still good to get something. I made it along today to the programme fair it was really good and the organisers seemed happy with the turnout. It was the first programme fair in Edinburgh for 15 years. Could see it bring an annual thing at Parkside Bowling Club. Great to see the hobby still alive and kicking.

  9. I don’t remember him being annoying as a player? 2-2. What a game !
  10. Heart of Midlothian 5-0 Aberdeen @ Tynecastle Park on Wednesday night. cinch SPFL Premiership. The home side capitalise on some awful defending to thrash the Dons. 4-0 up at half-time Hearts added another around the hour mark. Aberdeen with a late strike ruled offside by VAR. Crowd 18,497.
  11. What a sorry state of affairs ... Club Statement | 19/01/23 Club News 37 minutes ago There has been selective reporting today of the defence filed against the claim the Club has brought against its insurance brokers for doing their job negligently. The Club did not try to insure Emiliano after the plane crash. All Cardiff City Football Club staff understood from its broker that all players were insured from the moment they were signed, and the case arises from learning they were not. It will reply to the allegations made in the defence that are untrue, or portrayed out of context, in the court proceedings and will not litigate this case in the media.
  12. Stevie Hislop will know Daryl well from his time with him at Whitehill. Has also been at Selkirk, Berwick Rangers, Gala FR and East Kilbride. If he plays could do ok.
  13. He’s pretty much always been deployed on the right of a front 3 since joining Liverpool for the U18s / 21s & 1st team. Thrown in as one of 4 subs on 67 minutes on Saturday at 3-0 down Jurgen seemed to try him as a left wing back. He did really well again last night ! Great to see him getting so many chances.
  14. Good one to get to @The Mantis. I saw a Border Amateur game here a couple of years ago and doubled it up with the Albert after.
  15. Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0 Liverpool @ AMEX Stadium . Premier League. Brighton are excellent from start to finish and deservedly win against a Liverpool side who have become a shadow of the team that nearly won the lot last season. Crowd 31,645.
  16. Boxes, piles, drawers and shelves full of them the missus is delighted ... but always good to get a programme at a game !
  17. Edinburgh University 0-4 University of Stirling @ East Peffermill on Wednesday night. Lowland League action in the capital and a comfortable win for title chasing Stirling who led 3-0 at the break and were rarely troubled by their student counterparts. Crowd 71.

  19. Hibernian 3-0 Spartans @ Meadowbank Stadium. The big one on Sunday in the Women’s Scottish Cup 4th Round. Hibs deservedly progress with a well worked opener before half time ️ (35) and 2 further goals after ️️ (54 & 70). Crowd 250 ish.
  20. Managed to tick another one (71) off the 92 yesterday and really enjoyed it. £20 admission and programmes £3. Morecambe 2-1 Cheltenham Town @ Mazuma Stadium . EFL League 1. Really good game and atmosphere with both sides battling to stay up. 1-1 at the break, after Town had levelled, The Shrimps managed by Derek Adams retook the lead on 47 mins and held on to move out of the drop zone. Crowd 4677.
  21. It’ll be the same as up here I would imagine ... prices will be agreed between the 2 clubs beforehand and gate receipts shared after expenses. The prices were Adults: £20, Over 65s/under 21s: £15 and Under 17s: £10 which sounds pretty decent. Looks like the time of year and it being live on terrestrial TV has hit the crowd.
  22. Definitely fair play to them @shawfield shed boy . Guess with London aways it will also be a bit like the central belt up here with a lot of ‘exiles’ picking up spares and taking the chance to see their home town team on their doorstep.
