Decent finish on him but I really doubt he’d ever score more than 10 goals in a season at this level, he did well with us during his first loan spell but most of his goals were penalties, really flattered to deceive last season.

I was wondering how they were going to sort out the points this season for the 1 legged ties. This seems the fairest solution as it would've been unfair for the lower ranked countries in the qualifiers to lose out on half the available points. I don't know if it makes much sense to have the new system in place beyond the qualifiers though, unless the group stages were to be 3 games instead of 6. It makes more sense to me to revert back to 2 points for a win from the group stage onwards if it's no longer single legged ties. Yup, that’s only for the one legged ties, goes back to normal from the play off stage

I believe the points are slightly different this year for one legged ties. W=3 D=2 & L=1, whereas previously it was W=2 D=1 & L=0 These are obviously halved in the qualifying rounds. So Celtics win last night takes us to 1.5 points and with 5 teams in Europe that gives us 0.3 to kick off. We’ll probably find the 1 point for a loss will help lower nations slightly as it assumes effectively the team qualifying to win one game and draw the other when results where teams were knocked out were more often than not 2 x victories, especially against the lower nations.

At this point I feel like I’ll rock up at the ticket office to buy a ticket and Derek McInnes will swoop in and convince me to go to Pittodrie instead.

What happens if there are a plethora of own goals?

Wasn’t sure if there’d be an exception for football (ie teams being able to travel to Aberdeen to play games etc)

Surely if the 6 that are isolating that haven’t tested positive get tested and they come back negative they’ll be able to play?

Tanner is a fanny imo, he kept getting information wrong, clearly hadn’t done any research and just came across as a bit of a tool. Each to their own but it wasn’t great for me.
