Posted this on the match thread.
As much as I like Campbell and think that he's done a great job at Arbroath, his one big weakness has been finding goalscorers. Look at who he's signed Spence, Donnelly, Doolan, Doris, Wallace - all either past it or just simply not good enough. Wighton was great but was never going to be a long term solution. The amount of chances we create and, aside from Raith, the closeness of the games, we could be sitting top half by now but only 2 goals in 6 games is a grim statistic. I know, I know... if my auntie had balls.
3 points next week or we're in the sh1t - starting to think 9th is as good as we're going to get but wouldn't fancy our chances against Cove or Falkirk.

This is a cracking photo of Tommy Craig. It looks like Gayfield to me.
Definitely Gayfield, still has the same fence, although with advertising boards along the front.

Positives -
A clean sheet
We are off the bottom
The boys fitness looks great
The camera continues to improve
Negatives-
No cutting edge up front
Bobby’s crossing
JT’s injury
That fucking commentaryIn tight stuffy games like that with little space or opportunity I think Swankie would have been a better option to bring on in midfield than Virtanen. He has the creativity and vision to setup an opportunity, he's also more of a goal threat himself.

No offense taken, we feel the exact same about you lot, shame our manager had different ideas.
Yeah, I think ourselves, Morton, QOTS and Alloa are likely to be scrapping for survival and will be looking to beat each other, especially at home.

Dreadful. Last two games - QOTS and Morton at home, have to be aiming for at least 4 points from those if we hope to stay up this season. Desperately need goals but who's going to score them? Zero threat up front, Doolan is not the answer and we know Donnelly's limitations as a goal scorer. Must give Ruth some game time. Any Craig Wighton's looking for a loan?
No disrespect to Morton but they were there for the taking today, so frustrating.

Lacking creativity in midfield and zero goal threat. I would put on Swankie and Ruth. 71% possession according to BBC and not a single effort on target.

Well, we need to try something different - a season of single goal defeats and 0-0 draws isn't going to keep us up.
