The missus family are full of really bitter Celtic fans who can't seem to understand that I take great pleasure in seeing them or their blue cousins get beat.

Calvin Miller seems to have a wee training ground party piece going on. That's twice he has picked up a ball from a corner, turned away from goals and the defence then turned and sent in a beauty. he scored himself against the Binos then his pass lead to Clubber's goal against Kelty yesterday. Keep it up, Calvin.

I'm sure McGlynn said after the Stirling game that Miller's goal had been practised in training so it wouldn't surprise if yesterday's goal was as well.

Another big game. With Hamilton having a tricky game against Alloa it is important we get a win here and possibly open up a wee gap at the top of the league 🤣🤣

This is the game that we can beat Jim Jeffries unbeaten league record. Go for it.

Absolutely nothing wrong with these posts yet @Rennieball still hitting the red dots as per every single post made by @Bigbrbairn

I thought at the time that it was a bullet header by the defender.

It also looked to me that Montrose should have had a penalty. It looked like the ball had hit Lang's arm.

I thought at the time it was something the Montrose defender couldn't do anything about but what a finish it was!!

Agree re the penalty shout, few folk near me in the KM stand thought the same at the time

We were also of course unbeaten at home for the entirety of the last season at Brockville until Hugh fucking Dallas and his linesman pal decided to allow a cross that was about two yards over the by-line to stand and let Caley beat us 3-2.

Chris Boyle was his name, I'm sure Charleston was the other assistant that day as well with it being the last game at Brockville.

Both young and prone to errors, however Long gives more confidence and better with his feet, I think he’ll go further with his career.

I agree. I sometimes think our fans can be too harsh on both our keepers. Yes they've made mistakes that have cost us goals but show me a professional keeper who doesn't make mistakes

Miller looked out on his feet about half way through the second half, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Ross starts.

Miller took a fair bit of punishment on Saturday as well, also wouldn't be shocked to see Ethan Ross start in his place on Tuesday

I still think getting an experienced keeper is the number 1 priority for next season. I'm happy with Hogarth as No2, he's young and will get better with age and experience.

I agree with this but there's not much between Hogarth and Long for me.

I'd also like to see us sign a 'proper' right back. I know we've signed the lad from Cumbernauld Colts and Finn Yeats has been brilliant there this season, I just wonder if the jump a division might be too much for them. Both our fullbacks seem to get targeted by high diagonals from the opposition, they obviously think that's the way to get through us

I was in line with it in the main stand and it was hard to tell but the assistant wasn’t in line with it.

Funnily enough the one time accies actually played some football rather than clipping balls into the channels for 90 minutes, embarrassing from a full time team with the best squad in the league.

If he's not in line then he can't give it. Have to say that I didn't think he even looked fit in the warm up!

Yeah, thought that myself that the highlights were of high quality. I can't help but wonder however (and apologies if this has been discussed before - I'm sure it has) is there any possibility of the club TV cameras using the broadcast scaffolding to record the footage? We had a fantastic support today, even in the main stand, but the camera unfortunately doesn't show any of it.

Is the scaffolding ours or does it belong to the broadcast company? I get what you're saying about using it but the guys are volunteers and it's pretty exposed to the elements over that side

Watching the highlights. I thought Rose was offside from where I was sitting in the Main Stand and my god, the highlights confirm it. He's CLEARLY offside. We're not talking fine margins here. State of the officiating in this country is utterly dugshite. I sympathise when it's tough decisions but this is just basic incompetence.

Difficult to tell because he has the ball when he comes into shot and the camera isn't in line. I think there's a chance he might have been on, that step up that Lang does is distracting for an assistant if there's an attacker going the other way.

Also, even if it was a goal kick instead of a corner before the second goal, how do we let somebody get a free header inside the box?

I think Accies are going to win. I have a real bad feeling

They need to win and we don’t, so I expect Accies to be more desperate for a result. We don’t have good record in the cups and this is like a cup final for them.

The other thing is I think we a due a sending off, for all the crap refereeing, I don’t think we’ve had a man send off, but most importantly the fans are too confident and winding up Accies fans are setting themselves up for a fall.

the unofficial motto of expect the unexpected isn’t just for wins.

While Accies definitely need to win, I think ultimately they will be content with a point. They'll know that if they open up we have the pace to get at them.

We don't have a good record in cups? IIRC we reached the Scottish cup semi final last season! If you mean we don't have a good record in matches where there's a big crowd up for it then we would all agree with that.

Colin Steven is the referee tomorrow, he always looks like an angry wee man and loves a red card. I expect at least 1 red card tomorrow but its 50/50 which way

  12. Sat in the North Stand a few times but the most recent was the Paul Hartley 17/18 season against Dumbarton as part of the Foundation free ticket initiative. We hit both posts and bar and I'm sure it finished 0-0. Andrew Nelson hit the bar from just inside the opposition half.

On another note, I've watched the newest episode of Open Goal with Lee Miller as a guest. He's non committal about Gary Holt but I don't think he has any time for him and seems to be happy not to be involved in football.

Block H lower holds 350 and the part of the upper that is not available holds around 100

Assume the club will either open these bit by bit if the rest of the stand sells out, or split the north stand which can easily be done

Hamilton fans are meant to be in the North Stand I think

The last thing we want is a self-enforced partial stadium closure with paying customers not able to get a ticket

Isn't the upper part of Section H the press part anyway?

Hamilton will be in the North stand

  14. Feeling nervous about this game. Been a Falkirk supporter for too long to know not to get carried away. I'm a pessimist and I've been thinking that one league defeat will see some nerves kicking in and more defeats will follow. Just hope that the first league defeat doesn't come on Saturday so

    C'mon Falkirk, get them pumped!

Do Accies fans think sacking the manager would do anything? Surely the players have to take some accountability ?

Similarly, if your BoD dont pull the trigger this week, do you think a defeat on Saturday would be enough to force them into action? Or would the fact you'll still be second and guaranteed playoffs be seen as him still meeting targets therefore they can't do anything?

If you look at the fixtures for Q4 then I'd say we play all of our better opponents away from home and Hamilton play all of their's at home. That makes our next 5 games where we play Accies amd Montrose at home and Cove away very important.

away games of note Q4 are in order

    QoS, Montrose and Hamilton

Had the same in Q2 when we were on our unbeaten run. Let's deal with Saturday then Tuesday before we worry about Q4
