Fair play to Dave Mac for that outstanding shithousery at full time over the tannoy btw, bring him home

"You can all have a singsong on the way home" followed by a blast of Daydream Believer was brilliant. A wee play of Gypsies Tramps and Thieves straight after that would have been the icing on the cake

Can I just say how much of a pleasure it truly is watching this team? At FT I just stood there, taking it all in, with the KM stand rocking. There's electricity in the air. We all know this is something special we're witnessing.

Shout out the the "young team" who were excellent for the whole 90 mins last night. Even the main stand joining in to serenade Hartley was a particular highlight.

Agreed. I was at the game last night with my son (8) and my partners dad (71). My son doesn't know any different but my partners dad even commented how good the atmosphere is with the young team and how well we're playing.

For me it was walking downstairs in the KM7 stand a few minutes before the end and seeing my 75 year old uncle and his friend clapping along to "if you hate Paul Hartley clap your hands" that showed that even the older generation of fan are loving going to games again and genuinely do hate Hartley

I thought this too, looks very much the backup striker to MacIver that McGlynn wants. Thought he was unselfish too a couple of times and that led to a goal.

He won the ball back on the left touchline in the lead up to the 3rd goal. Was really impressed with him on Saturday and again last night. Would have no objections to him starting v Edinburgh.

I also think we might see Mackie or McGinn start in place of Donaldson with Henderson dropping back if McGinn starts

Filling up the washing machine and I'm told I can't do any washing on the 1st?

I remember my mum, grandmother and aunts all saying when I was younger that there should be no housework done at all on the 1st January and all washing on airers etc should be put away so the house doesn't look untidy.

I was too young to understand that back then which is just as well because I still don't understand.

Watching the post match interview, i dunno about the rest but I felt the reason for dropping NH was a bit wishy washy, it smells a bit of contractual obligations and we have to play him.

I get where you're coming from but I think McGlynn views Long as the no 1.  I don't think you bring a keeper up on loan from a L2 side in England to sit on the bench.

Long started the season in goal then Hogarth took over when Long got injured. Now Long is back in despite Hogarth keeping two clean sheets back to back

Have we got an extra player on the bench today? I’ve noticed Mcglynn has said previously that Ola is sitting in the stands because there’s no spaces left on the bench. But I’m pretty sure we’ve got more on the bench than previously. Please correct me if I’m wrong?

On the subject of Ola, I was in the restaurant in the stadium yesterday for lunch and my son wanted to sit at the window to watch the players training (I knew yesterday that Long was in goal today as he was the keeper in the starting 11 team). There was absolutely no sign of Ola at all on the pitch or at the side. Anybody know anything?

Also, who was the keeper coach today? Definitely wasn't the usual guy

I also feel many fans in Scottish football have an unhealthy hang up on Collums main job as if it's some sort of smoking gun.

Doesn't Walsh teach PE at a school used by Rangers for their academy kids? Just putting that out there as ultimately it was Nick Walsh refereeing a game involving a club used by his employer.

Willie Collum once gave us a penalty against Rangers (SHOCKEROONIE I KNOW) that was about two yards outside the box. For that I thank him, but also point it he is an utterly atrocious official and I have no idea why he is championed as our most elite.

At the end of the same game he also gave a penalty to Rangers (shock horror) for a handball against Blair Alston that even Mark Warburton said wasn't. It was almost as if he needed to "even things up" but thankfully Danny Rogers saved it.

I was at the first SPL game he refereed (2006?), Falkirk v Dunfermline at the Falkirk Stadium where I thought he had a great game.

He's now past his best and needs put out to retirement

I was convinced Morrison was going to be leaving us but the way he left the field after the last game has made we wonder - surely he would have made more of a fuss if that was his last appearance for us? I guess it is wait and see. If he does go then let's hope it is for good money - we cannot begrudge him a chance elsewhere.

No chance we get good money for a player who is out of contract in 6 months

  10. Thank you to the players and management for a great hour and a half this afternoon at the Junior Bairns Training Day. The kids all seemed to have a great time meeting their heroes who were all brilliant with the kids.

We really do have a fantastic club right now.

On the downside however was the state of the KM7 stand with food waste, empty wrappers and cups from saturday's match. I get it's not your house but is it too much to have some pride in the stadium and put your rubbish in a bin?

  11. I wanted MvG or Littler to win right up until Littler done that whole "will I go for it" to the crowd after firing two treble 20's when going for the 170.

Now that MvG is out I'm getting behind Chizzy or Cross

We talk about the performances of Morrison and Miller but if you watch closely you can see how often they are fed by McCann and Yeats. Full backs starting a lot of the moves. All good

See how far infield Yeats was in the build up to the 5th goal, any further and he'd have been on the community pitch!

    Regarding Russell McLean

FACT-  A trialist can play 5 games according to the Lowland League rules.

HEARD FROM A (SOBER) RELIABLE SOURCE:- He believes he is good enough to secure a contract with a SPFL club and is actively offering his services but so far no takers.

    Time will tell.

Based on Tuesday only, he'd get a L2 side at best. Whether it was lack of match fitness or injuries catching up with him but I thought he looked done. No idea how he lasted the 90 minutes both from a fitness point of view and I thought he was lucky not to pick up a second yellow
