  1. Everyone believes in something even those who think they dont
  2. good point though could be argued he is kinda predicting an earthquake
  3. quite ironic as it seems economists can never warn of a financial crisis before it happens
  4. Its a good look for Harry constantly complaining how hard done by he is and how he hates being in the spotlight and wants to live a normal life, while doing Oprah and living in a multimillion dollar house, Im sure no one is going to tire of hearing that.
  5. Clearly you missed the use of Indian Variant by racists to promote their sordid agenda. racist
  6. well there might be in terms of continuity and avoiding confusion by unilaterally renaming something
  7. Quick question how does he work out that exports to england would drop by 15%, if Scottish currency is cheaper it would surely increase exports and possibly cancel out any border issues
  8. I reckon she thinks shes going to be saying that Indian variant a lot over next few weeks then, Glasgow in L3 for some time then?
  9. DeeDee going to the Moon is another full of great lines
  10. Same in Amsterdam or used to be when Ajax win league. They all gather in leidseplein and players come out on a balcony with trophy, once its over and the normal punters leave a full on riot against the police breaks out, though the police go straight into tear gas and baton charges without much hesitation.
  11. Its a classic It sums up Scottish Labour main output of the last 40 years in a few minutes, Thatcher, Thatcher Though SNP are in danger of going same route with Tories, Tories its sounding a bit similar at times
  12. If working from home becomes the norm then people will be wanting to buy houses with a spare/room office or if possible some extension/office Wages ofcourse wont go up to accomadate Some of the loudest pro home office in past i know are now dreading it if it becomes full time. It was great when they could choose what days they worked from home and when they did no one else was working from home at same time. Nothing worse either than having a day off through the week only to find yourself having to listen to someone working from home
  13. as tends to be the case with extremists, closer to each other than anyone else
  14. I dont think Ive read of any country where track or trace had any real benefit, has any been documented?
  15. A classic , thats what I love about this thread new tunes for me anyway that i never heard before and old classics like the Doors i havent listened to for years
  16. That was interesting especially the last 5 minutes. 2 questions on what the video says if its correct, whats your opinion 1. Why have the Arab nations abandoned the Palestinian cause in recent years 2. If Gaza was to get autonomous status and the concern for Israel is that they could later then obtain weapons to cause major damage to Israel, how could that be overcome to allow Gaza to really govern itself and rebuild and improve quality of life for its residents and ensure it does not attack its neighbour. Theres an element of trust there but if thats whats holding back the future for those who live there then even Hamas and Netanyahu can be pushed towards some compromise if theres a will from all and a trust is built.
  17. On point 2. That history would make any peoples that endured it distrust everyone , thats what needs addressed by all sides for them I think. They need to feel safe in any future solution, thats what needs sold to them by everyone involved.
  18. So when those settler and apartheid policies go theres a good chance reconciliation and real peace and security with its neighbours will come I can believe that, so thats a selling point to the average Israeli , vote for this and this is the benefit and have those countries really sell it too, create cross border and cross country groups to cement that feeling and make it seem possible
  19. Good points Its understandable why Germany feels that way with its history, a sense of guilt and amends I guess. The South Africa example is a good comparison, the international support seems not far off same level though your right on a boycott level its not One question. Do you think theres a sizeable section of the Israeli population who are open to some solution and would support it if any fears they had were allayed and they trusted it? The change looks like it has to come from them and reaching out to them from all sides could be a step in the right direction maybe? Mandela knew to get any solution for S.Africa it wasnt the ANC he needed to convince
  20. How is that working now ? I was reading few months back maybe more about how many Aussies had been stuck abroad and couldnt get back. Some of them had been due to leave the country they were in to move back and ended up 6 months later maybe more still not able to get back
  21. Im talking about the Israeli people btw not any of their governments or parties
