  1. Hopefully shanley can get a goal here then.
  2. Have we got an extra player on the bench today? I’ve noticed Mcglynn has said previously that Ola is sitting in the stands because there’s no spaces left on the bench. But I’m pretty sure we’ve got more on the bench than previously. Please correct me if I’m wrong?
  3. We only score goals when shooting into the KM stand tho…
  4. Interesting that Agyeman hasn’t been in the starting eleven since October yet he’s still our third highest goal scorer. Some people on here have wrote him off too quickly and easily. He’s got many attributes and I’m sure will have a significant impact as the season progresses.
  5. Tbf when I said a “fair few” I meant a couple of hundred.
  6. We’ve got a great support and Stirling Albion will bring a fair few but no chance of breaking 5000 imo.
  7. If we win our next game that gives us a 2.6 points average per game. If we were to replicate that in the second half of the season that would give us a 92 point total. Dunfermline finished on 81 last season. Obviously, it would be really hard to keep this up and we have only played cove once. However, it really does put into perspective just how good we’ve been this season!
  8. I would disagree. If we were to offer Hendo a new 2 year contract at a higher salary than what we are paying now then that increase would be effectively immediately. That’s my understanding of it anyway. It’s like when cal has signed new contracts in the past his new wage wouldn’t become effective until the end of his old contract, it would be effective straight away. Obviously if the new contract was on the same wage then it wouldn’t make a difference. But any wage increase would have to be found from this years budget.
  9. Yeah no need to offer any contract extensions right now. Also any new contract extensions would take money out the current budget.
  10. A certain someone can read the Falkirk thread then try and pass it off as ITK.
  11. If it’s a case of he signs a PCA in January, it may be best for all party’s he leaves in the January with a small fee attached. At that stage it’s probably Mcglynns call. You do run the risk of Morrison basically giving up once the PCA has been signed.
  12. Lang for me. However, I think Miller has been exceptional. Will also be interesting to see how many goals Morrison finishes on at the end of the season. If he’s in the 20s then it’s hard not to give him player of the season.
  13. I really do like the way Mcglynn always thanks for the fans in his interviews. He’s done it since day 1. Yes, at the end of the day results are what the fans want but considering some of the fuds we’ve had in charge recently (Hartley) it’s nice to see someone who actually gets it and understands how important it is to have the fans onside.
  14. BB said lawal was injured. But tbh I also think he’s at real risk of leaving in January to make room for someone new. I’ve always liked the look of Reece Mcleaer. Physical box to box central midfielder. Not getting a game for tranmere so wouldn’t mind getting him on loan. Would provide good competition/cover for Hendo and Spencer.
  15. I suppose you’re right in some ways. However, I could counter you by saying the week before Dundee Utd Hogarth made a howler against Edinburgh city, so at the same time we’ll never know if he Hogarth was dropped for the mistake or because it was a cup game.
  16. Long was rightly dropped after two howlers against Dundee Utd. None of the keepers fill me with much confidence but I do seem some redeeming qualities of Long. However, Mcglynn has chosen to go with two very young and inexperienced keepers, unfortunately at their age they will be prone to some mistakes.
  17. He’s actually 19. He’s 6ft 1 so would defo suit Mcglynns style of play.
  18. Yeah If Spencer does play it’s obvious he won’t be fully fit. Don’t risk him. A making of a good team is the ability of that team to grind out a results even when they are missing a couple of their better players.
  19. Yeah would agree with that. Lyon’s certainly caused us problems down that side. I know we’ll be missing a couple of players but we’ll also have Calvin miller who was injured last time we played Montrose. Swings and roundabouts I guess. I noticed last time we absolutely dominated Montrose with set pieces but never managed to get a goal from it. I definitely feel there’s a goal from a set piece available for us on Tuesday.
