  1. I’d take pot 2 if it was guaranteed that Spain could be our pot 1 team at the euros. Fancy another go at them.
  2. LaPorte must be ragin - he did about 17 of those on Thursday before he got a card…
  3. var = our in norwegian. ‘Our’ as in: ‘its our place in the finals’. They’ve obviously been using their oil money to buy their spot. This is the only reasonable conclusion that anyone could make.
  4. Your plumber is playing you like a fiddle, pal. Wee google of vip sports usually works but I would highly discourage it….
  5. I personally hope that football is the winner. (draw, please)
  6. This user just outlined all of the possible permutations. THAT DOG HAS A FLUFFY TAIL!!
  7. No, you just decided that so that you could be correct. The whole argument from the outset has been that the VAR is totally out of whack. One minute they’re saying it’s a foul and the next its offside - while not showing anything conclusive (Nevermind the standard lines etc) to show that it actually was… or why Hendry was deemed to be intervening… McGinn said that the referee said it was a foul. There are pictures of the stadium screen saying that it was ruled out for a foul. There are images of the referee signaling that it was a foul. The commentators on numerous streams (not just viaplay) said that it was because it was a foul at the time.
  8. The “well actually” crowd having an absolute minter tonight.
  9. So again, where are the lines? they don’t exist because it was given as a foul, they later changed it because they realised they fucked up ala the Liverpool game. and of course it’s important because if it’s about being a foul then of course it wasn’t!
  10. 1) he wasn’t interfering. He’s stood next to him. He can’t help the fact that he’s tall. 2) we don’t even know if he was actually offside because of the lack of decent transparency - the still we’ve seen isn’t conclusive. 3) it was originally given as a foul
  11. And again, all of this is secondary to the fact that they ruled it as a foul in the first place…
  12. Are you saying the keeper had blinders on like a horse? This is getting ridiculous. Hendry was stood next to him at all times and there is plenty of scope for him to see where the ball is coming from.
  13. he’s to his left. To be charitable, the ball is coming from straight ahead, but really it’s coming from his right. In what world is he obstructing his view?
  14. Hickey was our best player tonight. Scunnered for him that he slipped. I thought it was very telling that he was often the only line of defence on our set pieces. Shows the trust they have in him. There was a moment in the first half where he was back there alone, our set piece came to nothing but hickey cleaned up the loose ball and started another attack. Really good.
  15. Nope. His VAR assistant told him it was a foul.
  16. And all of this is aside of the fact that VAR have broadcast to the stadium and to the commentary teams that it was for a foul.
  17. But that’s the still that’s being used to show to the television audience that he was offside. If he wasn’t offside then he can’t impede.
  18. Yeah we were really not very good in possession tonight. I thought Hickey and McTominay were our two best players which is especially shore considering that they suffered the most from the circumstances… I remember thinking that replacing McGregor with Gilmour was something that I’d never considered because of McGregor’s previous form, but I’m thinking it again tonight. Maybe all the games are finally catching up with him.
  19. This still is ridiculous. The ball could be as much as a foot away from McTominay by then.
  20. Only way he could interfere with the keeper is if he was offside when McTominay kicked it. He wasn’t.
