I'd agree we've been spoilt with goalkeepers. I think Fleming is 'steady'. He's not spectacular. I cannot really think of any saves he has made that I find myself thinking 'how did he do that?'. Equally, I'm struggling to think of any massively clear-cut errors. In terms of McManus, I'd agree on the more goals front. I know he is not an attacking midfielder or someone that pushes forward at all times but I think with his technique and quality on the ball he should probably chip in with more.

Interesting. I think Victoria might be off. Do you not rate Fleming?

Surely you can be both happy and disappointed with the performances over the course of a season? Happy to have reached a cup final, plus an impressive unbeaten run. Disappointed because the form has disappeared off a cliff.

The form could certainly be better and Stranraer have probably suffered from the season coming to a halt when they were in such good form. Equally, the games lost have been away from home to the champions-elect and a team who will more than likely be in the play-offs. The dropped points at Cowdenbeath are obviously frustrating though. I do wonder if there could have been more strengthening though. The games ahead of the Scottish Cup tie are obviously going to be massive.

To be fair, I think you need to have friendlies to help the players get back up to speed before the competitive games.

I think some fans rate him very highly. For me, he shows glimpses of what he can do. He looked really good when he came off the bench against Albion Rovers a fortnight ago, for example. However, on the flip side, seven goals in nearly 70 games is not great (although a decent chunk of those appearances will be from the bench). He has played as a winger and a striker at Stranraer and it seems uncertain what is his best position. He's 21 now and this is his fourth season at the club. I think he needs to add goals to his game, something I'm sure he would say as well.

I think I would echo the idea of not changing a team that has been performing not too badly. Unfortunately, that falls on Hilton too. He was missing at the start of the season due to injury and I'm not sure who I would take out for him at the moment. A great problem to have though and even better when Stirling, Burns and Elliott are all back. Victory tomorrow would match last season's win total... We beat Berwick Rangers, Clyde, Dunfermline and Raith last year.

I don't think anyone would really 'forget' that Ipoua or Whitmore signed for us. They were very much our 'big' signings of that close season. Similarly, people suggesting Sergio Berti. I would say among Livi fans he is fairly well known.

Giordano Vanin or Kevin Walker (GK) Salvador Capin or David Cowan (RB) Phil Cave (LB) Julius Raliukonis (CB) Ryan Harding CB) Dubi Tesevic (MR) - He might have been a ML but struggling for that one position. Jakob Hottek (ML) Milan Thomas or Grant McCann (MC) Davide Luongo (MC) Nocko Jokovic (SC) Lewis Allan or Thomas Orr (SC)

Nouma definitely played for Livi. He came off the bench in the game where Kachloul scored with his first (?) touch against Dunfermline. I'm fairly certain Nouma got booked for crunching someone as well.

When did you play Cove? I had a quick look online but could not see anything. Obviously, you will play them this season but could not find a previous meeting.

He was decent. Obviously, a bit of a learning curve in that it was first team football and the right back position. I'm not sure if Stranraer had a player of the year 'event' given everything that is going on but I imagine he would have had a good chance of being young player of the year.

Obviously a big step up but Pignatiello spent much of the second half of the season at right back for Stranraer. He did start off in central midfield but from the dunfermline cup game onwards he was at right back.

Did Stanic only play in the top flight with Livingston?

He scored against Stranraer in the League Cup when Stranraer won 3-2.

I spotted that. Noticed there was mention of both Andersons, Hendry and Spencer but nothing on Joao. Wasn't sure if that meant he was fit but not making the squad or if it was a case that he was injured long term and no point in highlighting it when he would not be back any time soon.
