  1. 5m difference is significant when using wingbacks /wingers as we do v a team of hoofers like Imrie’s ….take that as a positive on your narrow pitch .
  2. Any narrower and you could pass if off as a squash court …pun intended.. Re our pitch ,it was in perfect order when we scudded you last last time around without getting out of first gear .
  3. Play like we did in first half against Dundee we should be fine especially with Graham and/or Tiff back .Play like we did in second half we may as well turn not up .In saying that Morton’s horrible ,wee narrow pitch is a leveller . 1-1 .
  4. Fair play to Dundee who took full advantage of our tactical ineptitude ,lack of fight and general Dugmeat attitude in second half .At this rate any team in Championship should and will be taking the points when playing us . Sure we have important players out injured, however, when two up and looking comfortable in first half to going 2-1 and *hitting the bed and losing in second is unforgivable against a bang ordinary Dundee . Thought the Dundee contingent in Hospitality were well behaved but have to say are there any slim people in Dundee ?…just asking like .
  5. Would settle for the Estuary glue sniffers to draw at Ayr and Arbroath/Accies to spank the Northern Deer worriers and Raith respectively as I have no idea how this game will go today given our woeful injury list /alarming lack of fight. Can only hope Grahams back in squad at his bad assed best if nothing else but to give his own team pelters when needed .
  6. It’s a fair point,Thistle really missing a bawbee or two here .Accies had a cash gate at recent Thistle game so not sure why other clubs can’t do the same.
  7. Holt aside what’s the skinny on Doc,Tiff and BBBG getting back fighting fit ?
  8. Ok ,a string of key injuries, back ups that are hopelessly out of their depth and a team spirit and fight that seems flaccid at best .Only four points off the boil, however, can we afford to wait until Holt,Tiff,Graham,Doc et al are back and team turning the corner ? Methinks not ….big change needed now before we become lower table Dogmeat .
  9. Desperately need a fit and on form Lawless to have any chance today .1-2 Jags .
  10. Holt’s injury has left a bigger hole than first thought.Really struggling to see how McCall can sort this out before January window as Brownlie and Akinola are just not up to it .And with a usually solid Murdoch and the creative menace of Tiff also out we’re stalling at an alarming rate as the fragility of our team is laid bare even against an average Ayr who deserved their victory tonight .
  11. If Murdoch, Holt and Tiff are all missing then realistically a draw would be a great result for us in order to stop the rot.
  12. Fair play to QP, took advantage of our most inept performance this season so far and were deserved victors . No excuses made for our injuries ,we should be performing better than that and hope this is our season’s nadir and we kick up gear or two from now on in .
  13. Interesting point to psychologist as many clubs now have them including Ayr who just hired one .I have a cousin who consulted for another Championship team and biggest issue (no surprises)with some players was post match blues if it involved a defeat of bad individual performance .Trick was to not dwell on result or over analyse it /performance and move on positively to next game .A lot of players also feel a post match void that was previously filled with a match high ……again getting guys out of this void and on focusing positively to next game could be a great help . Can’t see any downside in having a focused Sports Psychologist on the team.
  14. Last few games we have been generally backfiring ,players carrying knocks and not really reaching our full potential. With a leg sapping journey to the NE against a Dons desperate for any type of progesssion/victory we might be a bit tattered come Saturday as this cup means a lot to us . 1-0 Jags in another hard fought battle.
  15. Thought our fans were great today and certainly were the 12th man in an under performing team playing on a horribly, slow plastic pitch . Ref was rank and the away bogs were like the back hole of Calcutta…pleased with the three points though .
  16. Cheers, unfortunately our website is not advertising this as an option .
  17. Cheers,10,000 Naira would get you a swimming pool of Gulder filled with “Sweetos” back in the day ! .
  18. Thought McMillan had Mackay in his back pocket until obviously he got subbed. That for me was the turning point in the game as happened with our ridiculous two goal collapse against Cove when McMillan also came off.
  19. No point dwelling on what can’t be changed ,ICT deserved their victory so move on now to how we approach the Accies game and three points .Kudos to the brave souls who made it to the Frozen North last night to what is always a cold hoor of a place at the best of times and on a par with Pittodrie and Gayfield for bone gnawing misery .
  20. Thistle ( the one and only) averaging 2.6 goals per game in league so far leaving Friday’s affair moderately winnable if we can stop defensive wobbles . Big Bri in full on wind up mode and twin menace of Tiffoney and Lawless to unleash mayhem.
  21. Nothing much more to say after today’s pleasing and clinical eviseration of a honking Morton . Imrie’s obvious time wasting tactics summed up by Strapp taking 10 mins to waddle over for a throw in …would have been quicker taking a number 60 bus .
