Never been to a match there, driven past it a few times when staying in Inverness, great location by the water, believe it’s a bone chiller in the winter.

That is true, Inverness is a great place to visit. Won’t be able to make it unless I charter a helicopter to get us from Gullane in the morning to Inverness.

Yeah part of me would like a tie that we could have a good chance of winning and through to the 4th round. The other option would be an away tie at someone like Dundee Utd or Dunfermline which would probably guarantee us £20-£25k in gate money that could be put towards next season. Slim chance right enough when there are 40 names in the hat. Just great being in the draw.

You definitely had a better view of the goal than us, we were on the back terracing around the edge of the penalty box at the end we were attacking second half. I thought that the goalie got a touch on the way in? Any idea of the attendance, maybe 5-600?

Just home after a decent drive back, enjoyable day out going somewhere different, and the perfect result. Kilwinning started the second half quite well, but we started getting more and more success down the right wing through Ewan McPherson, just the last ball lacking on a couple of occasions. Mikey took his goal very well capitalising on a blunder, but he still had a lot of work to do. A couple of scary moments in the last 10 minutes, but Craig was up to the task, well done son. Lovely to see the players come over to celebrate with the fans at the end, great spirit between players and fans. Must have been well over 100 Cowden fans there. Kilwinning have a good set up and the couple of locals we spoke to (including older gent who used to be a groundsman at the old ground) were very nice. I expect they will be disappointed to have not forced extra time.

Pretty subdued first half from both teams, we have definitely had more of the game without creating too much. Thought there would be a bit more bite to it. Confident we’ve got another gear or two in us in the second half.

There seems to be a modern school of thought where you don’t always have men on both posts. I’d have thought you might do that if you are a big physical team and confident of winning most 50/50’s, but we’re not really so I would make sure men on both sticks.

Well done Edinburgh Uni, sounds like a thriller, beating Gretna 3-2 after being pegged back from 2-0 ahead. The winner was from a retaken penalty, high drama.

Must be a bad one to have you miss the games, especially at home, hopefully nearly out the other side. Yeah, missed it too, unfortunately standing in the cold driving rain in Fauldhouse this morning for 80 minutes meant we had to rethink our plans to come straight over, we were all soaked and freezing. I don’t usually like to comment on games I’ve not been at, the Braves Twitter comments said we were all over them at the start, pity couldn’t have put it out of sight (which would need to be at least 3 goals )

I will probably be mocked for this, and maybe rightly so, but I am almost feeling more frustrated with the team this season than I was last season. I suppose last season the expectations were pretty low, maybe that’s why I am feeling this way.
