  1. Not at all, just pointing out the blindingly obvious stat that he scores a disproportionate amount of your goals in the league.
  2. Why did you stand on the grass in the pissing rain at one end of the ground when there was plenty room on the terracing, where you can get an uninterrupted view of the pitch if you stand towards the back? It’s good you guys can get this all out 6 years later, like free therapy.
  3. This is a tremendously petty long held grudge, I love it.
  4. What we all want to know is are there new style jackets this season
  5. Good crowd, all the league crowds (none with away fans of any note) have been decent, long may it continue and grow. Sounds like the team were very unlucky tonight. Broomhill Twitter were raving about their goalkeeper’s performance.
  6. I think (not 100%) that streams are allowed of any games that are not 3pm on a Saturday. Would have loved a stream tonight, even without commentary, but the costs to arrange are maybe too much for a limited potential audience.
  7. Jeez, this thread is worth the 2 pages of scintillating chat when they’re is already a Tranent thread that practically no one is interested in.
  8. I don’t think I will try and challenge your speed record. Just noticed how tight Broomhill’s defence had been, two league goals conceded, should be a good challenge before we meet the Saudi backed team on Saturday.
  9. Never has a team relied on a 38 year old so completely.
  10. 3-0 Hearts B, didn’t really see that coming. Have Tranent pulled the win bonuses already?
  11. Hope they give him the match ball immediately or he might have a hissy fit.
  12. Scoring 6 against Edinburgh Uni in the first half isn’t for everyone. Still expect Berwick will win tonight though.
  13. Sadly going to miss first home game of the season tomorrow (I know there have only been 4 ) as fitba training schedules rule it out. I can’t get from Peffermill to Cowdenbeath in half an hour If the club fancy doing a live stream for me, would appreciate.
  14. Ha ha, nice one I’m waiting on this week’s mention of the 7 breakaway goals we scored against the Uni, in an otherwise even game. Seriously, it’s a no bad listen ignoring one or two things, anyone making effort to chat about the LL is appreciated.
  15. Nah, wouldn’t expect any, just musing out loud.
  16. I know nothing of the workings of Tranent, is this for sure the main money man? Tranent fans on a previous thread insisted that there was not one individual who was the main man, not sure how much that was believed. If this guy is the benefactor, It leads to some interesting questions; -Is he still funding the club going forward but simply taking a step back from day to day involvement? -Is he perhaps leaving funding in place to honour the contracts in place for this season, but scaling back after that? -Is he withdrawing funding immediately, that seems unlikely? Questions, questions
  17. Josh is damn unlucky not to have a higher tally already. The underside of the bar denying him against Strollers and then that sublime lob against Hearts B. Was right in front of that one, I was absolutely convinced the moment it left his boot it was dropping in just to crash off the bar as well.
  18. Thanks, I had missed that. Yes, good points, Josh has done brilliantly since getting the recent starts. I thought Ewan’s link up play was excellent as well though in the early games.
  19. Noticed Ewan Macpherson has been missing last couple of weeks, is he injured as well just now?
  20. Absolutely expected that the intensity would drop second half, just when the record books were getting dusted off. Nice to send the crowd home with that lovely free kick from Josh. Hope Matty is not as serious as it looked, he had a fine game. Professional job done.
  21. Their goalie is erratic (being kind), but I reckon he was only at fault for one goal, has had a few decent saves.
  22. Was also at Meggetland where Tynecastle edged out Gala 3-2 after extra time. Gala were the stronger team for much of the game, even after going down to 10 men, they can count themselves unlucky. The penalty for the winner was extremely soft. First time I have been to a game there and it’s great stadium to watch a game. I did a head count of the crowd and I counted 95, but this would have included officials from the clubs in the stand, so not sure what the ‘paid’ gate would be. Absolutely nothing against Tynecastle but it does feel like clubs like this struggle to have any sort of identity. They don’t represent a small town or village, don’t really have a fan base as such. This could apply equally to other clubs in bigger cities as well. They are clearly a well run club, however, can’t argue with that.
  23. Me too, we should really have too much for them if play as we have recently. Daughter switched to Saturday football now a bit older, game at Tranent in the morning, so a bit of a dash up the city bypass and over the bridge. We will make it I’m sure.
