  1. Yeah it’s a great idea but Monday night maybe not the best, no chance I could get over. Maybe a better idea would have been doing it early this coming Saturday afternoon when people might be in the town for the game, but early enough so it didn’t affect any of the pre match preparations.
  2. That’s a real shame, a growing trend it seem. I am 99.99% sure that Cowdenbeath will be producing their magnificent programme as usual, so get yourself along to Central Park.
  3. Yikes, hope this doesn’t spell bad news for our windfall if Viaplay are really in bother. https://rxtvinfo.com/2023/crunch-week-for-viaplay/
  4. Dan Watt did that very well last season.
  5. Great result for you today. How did your new goalie Cammy Gill do today, many saves to make?
  6. Saw this on Twitter account @ScotsFootyCards
  7. Cowdenbeath retained one player from 21/22 after relegation to the Lowland League to start last season and absolutely scrambled to sign players for the league cup, some who turned out to be not great. Bit farcical really when the season starts so early.
  8. Call me confused…. Be sad if Dan was on his way out, think he’s a very decent keeper. I know new managers have their own ideas, but the fact he signed an extension showed some loyalty on his part. That would leave us with two 18 year old keepers.
  9. Kinda sporadic then. My first season of really paying a whole lot of attention to the Lowland League was 22/23 and I don’t recall it happening last season. Fair idea though if you get a decent matchup.
  10. Must be a new idea for the LL, I see Berwick/Gala have a back to back on the same days. Quite a good idea, but Shire maybe not the most exciting ‘derby’. No doubt Bo’ness/Linlithgow on those dates, they should get bumper crowds.
  11. Good spot. Berwick both home and away are Saturdays, so good for drawing away fans. Unless a mistake the Shire fixtures are weird, due to be back to back with them on 26 and 30 December (away on Boxing Day).
  12. Teach me to get too ahead of myself Result not the important thing, lots of substitutions and giving everyone some game time.
  13. Fully justifying our place in the Viaplay cup
  14. That seems unsustainably cheap, more or less Lowland League prices. Are you sure the club hasn’t got a replacement sugar daddy Surely there is going to be different catering, maybe the club are taking it in house? Is it not part of the licensing that clubs have to provide somewhere to get food or am I thinking of something else?
  15. Noticed that the game at East Fife tomorrow is available to stream for a fiver, same as the admission price, just in case anyone not aware. Don’t think I’ll have the chance to watch, but good of them to do it.
  16. What an absolutely smug p***k. And I’m sure you’ll be reading this you smug p***k. Given that probably EK and Tranent will probably be fighting for the top place in the LL this year, going to have to think long and hard about which of the two I can stomach best. Not a nice thought.
  17. And apparently Carlos Lyon popped up as a trialist for Clyde at the weekend as well.
  18. It does seem very likely from that. Alternatively it could be a smokescreen/ a bit of a laugh and diversion, I would think it’s in pretty poor taste for a couple of reasons if that was the case.
  19. He had a short spell at Cowdenbeath last season, I think most fans would have known about his past issues, and the name change thing. I remember he looked an ok player at times, but no end product as didn’t manage a goal in the (relatively short) time he was there. I’d therefore be surprised if he was the type of player you were looking for if he wasn’t great shakes in the Lowland League.
  20. Was at the game, was a good work out for both teams in pretty windy conditions. Of course, hard to draw any conclusions from a friendly and Hill of Beath did graze the woodwork a couple of times and fired a few shots high or wide, so will be food for thought for Gala.
  21. I think for me being from Edinburgh it might be that Stuart Adamson is always associated with being from Dunfermline (I know he was actually born in England), but the fact he grew up in Crossgates and went to Beath high school I think he can be claimed for Cowdenbeath. I’ll start the campaign, forget the fact he was a Pars fan
