McGlynn isn’t a fan of the hybrid model at all, and the full time players hate it as it means training in the evenings. Can’t see you guys going for it.

Thought McGlynn did that tbh. Supposedly he’s rejected any offer we’ve made and I don’t see him getting another championship club. I’ve heard him and McGlynn are thick as thieves and obviously go back to Hearts days together in the early 00s. McGlynn was probably the only factor at play for him signing for us in the first place so just putting 2 and 2 together. Would be a bit of a coup for you guys really.

Surely there comes a point where you have to look at the people who appointed McGlynn. Are they fit to run your club?

No idea but I feel it’s a combination of signing a load of guys with dubious records to begin with, fairly poor facilities and not spending enough on sports science, strength and conditioning. Interestingly Hearts had a shocking injury record this season, the season after they employed our previous strength and conditioning guy… but it is probably a combination of factors.

Wonder if you’ll appoint a new head coach, maybe even give it to Paul Smith, but move McGlynn upstairs?
