  1. He’s hardly going to say he doesn’t trust the defenders he’ll be starting on Saturday.
  2. I think, generally speaking, a good chunk of tickets for a game like this, where there won’t be much danger a sell out, people will make up their mind on the day or the evening before the match and buy their tickets then.
  3. Yeah, somebody mentioned that he’d signed for Alloa on the last page.
  4. If you’re after a right back I wonder if McGlynn might go for Dave McKay. Released from QotS and McGlynn seemed to prefer him as a right back. Would do a job in League One.
  5. Like the tartan, not sure about the collar. I’ll neither buy it nor wear it, the strip release isn’t really something I get too het up about. As long as it’s navy, and not ruined by a terrible sponsor (ie when we had a URL) I’m not too fussed.
  6. Yeah probably a lesson in you can have all the talent in the world but if the mental side isn’t there you won’t make it. We had a guy Matthew Knox on trial for us once, who again was a bit of a prodigy, trials with Man United etc. you could tell he had a nice touch and was technically a good footballer but he just looked and played like a youth footballer, he’s at Musselburgh now.
  7. I think somebody is trying to stir the pot, which is quite frustrating as there’s lots of great stuff happening off the pitch at the club.
  8. Yeah, I guess we will. I think he was trumpeted because he promised a lot… seems like he delivered very little. I know from his time at Hibs he’s supposed to be a bit of an abrasive character too. I trust the board here.
  9. You might but right but I’ve heard both “sides” and I know what side I’m inclined to believe and I’m not in the slightest concerned McEwan has left the club.
  10. Gary Greenhill lowballing the club is hardly something I’d be taking seriously…
  11. Yeah McEwan is 100% away and I suspect there’s been no announcement as I think he was a contractor anyway. From what I’ve heard he’s been “working” at the clubs since way before the takeover was announced and there was very little to show for those months for which he was taking a wage out of the club. He apparently took the huff after he realised he wasn’t going to be CEO. I heard as well, from somebody who’s sponsored the club before, and have a business in Kirkcaldy, that he seemed to express no real interest in them, despite being a long term supporter and being keen to be involved, and just kept going on about his time/connections from Hibs. A complete charlatan. They stuff about there being a North Stand sponsor being in place is also a complete fabrication. In all honestly his departure sounds to me like a bullet dodged.
  12. Yeah, the key will be getting somebody, ideally under 30, with a bit more pace about them next to him and they get do the old one drops back, one closes down routine.
  13. Looks far superior to the overrated bridies available at the KDM.
  14. Craig Wighton was supposedly the next big thing who we were lucky to have when we signed him on loan from Dundee. He was shite. Some imposter called Stephen Reynolds was again loaned to us with much “look after him” “lucky to have him” from St Johnstone fans, he had some ridiculous goal scoring record at youth level. He was atrocious and never made it as a footballer in the end. Dreadful.
  15. Dick or Brown can play CB. It’s a friendly against Linlithgow, calm down.
  16. Not really a big disaster if we have to play Masson and Corr against Linlithgow. I’m sure we’ll have somebody in by the League Cup games.
