The defence was almost completely new only Dick started this season from last season back four, in the midfield 2 of our 4-2-3-1 most of the time it was Spencer and Brown(who want here last season) Easton played most games this season, wasn’t here last season and Gullan in the 1 didn’t play much at all this season. Basically on any given Saturday about half the team was different. He also, you know, didn’t sign a rapist and do untold damage to the clubs reputation, sponsorship, budget etc etc.

He had less money than McGlynn…

McGlynn had a far bigger budget than Murray did.

I actually wouldn’t object to having Ray back if Murray leaves.

Courts seems almost like the obvious choice if Murray leaves. I’d maybe like to see us take a look at Bartley too, though it’s maybe to early to tell with him.

We always say if a manger comes in and does well then he’ll be away after a season, if he does badly then we’ll have to sack him. Turns out you can be kinda average and also lose your manger.

Why would you touch Goodwillie?

This new signing has left me breathless.

They looked completely done by the end of the season. Think bringing in Hartley did more harm than good. I doubt they’ll be a force.

You’ve replaced Dunfermline with Paul Hartley’s Cove. If Airdrie, who’ve looked on the up for a few years, go up you’ll get Hamilton who are conversely on the spiral down. Stirling and Annan are likely to come up and I wouldn't expect either to be at the top end of the table. It’s an easier league. Quite jealous if Annan come up, not had the chance to head away down there.

I’m both amazed and delighted you’ve kept McGlynn. I actually think there’s a fair chance you stroll it next season despite him. Shaping up to be a piss easy league I think.

Reestablishing a woman’s team was certainly stated as an aim in the fans meeting and I possibly heard it mentioned in the various other interviews the new owners have given. Don’t think they’ll be able to have one ready for next season, a bit like establishing a joined up link with the community youth sides, it will take time.

FDL, for one, are absolutely chuffed to bits with it. @roverthemoon’s faux outrage strikes me as just that. Imagine being miserable about the club doing something (at literally no cost I might add) which has both given the us some extraordinary exposure and delighted a key sponsor…

Sun arise might not come tomorrow morning for Rolf.

It seems like he’ll be leaving us. I think we offered him something but I think he wants away. I though a team up with McGlynn or maybe Edinburgh City, where he coaches, a more likely move than along to the KDM.
