  1. If we knew Berra was going to chuck it just before the season started I fancy we’d have done more to keep Bene.
  2. Go on then… what did we offer Lang and Spencer?
  3. Yeah doubt the Record is correct on Spencer, the situation was quite specific, he had the option to extend, not the club. I can’t imagine we fought too hard to keep him given the season just had/the fact he doesn’t really feel like he suits Murray’s style. Lang I’d heard a while ago had bigger and better offers that we couldn’t hope to match, whether we tried to or not I’ve no idea.
  4. Don’t think we offered Lang anything. Spencer had the option to extend his contact but didn’t exercise it, I also doubt the manager would have wanted him to. Better players, possibly, but neither would have been in my top 5 last season.
  5. Just shows McGlynn is being well backed. Those two will be on decent wages.
  6. Aye if you can get a jammy draw and make a Scottish Cup semi final every season you’ll be a sustainable club.
  7. The biggest issue you’ll have with Lang keeping him fit.
  8. Two years with incremental increases…? I get the feeling this is the season they actually win the bloody thing. Thankfully we’ll be in the Premiership when they come up.
  9. I can see why, they’ll both stroll that league. They should probably bare in mind, before getting carried away, that they were both released by a club that finished just 7th in the championship who’s fans were generally not too fussed of their departures.
  10. No idea but makes sense. McGlynn tried to sign him at least on one occasion for us.
  11. Signing Spencer and Lang has probably just about confirmed your title victory this season. Great business, wouldn’t have minded if both had stayed at the rovers, though not too fussed either has left. Spencer just isn’t a Murray player, doesn’t fit the style he wants us to play, but is 100% a McGlynn player. Lang has his moments, will he better next to a sweeper-style defender and he’s a bit quick to close down attackers now and again, had the occasional mistake in him. Both are also classic McGlynn signings as they have had a few ACL injuries in their past…
  12. It’s funny. I think he’ll be a great signing for Falkirk, if he stays fit, but I wasn’t arsed at all about him leaving. I think that slow build from the back style of football has had its day for now a bit.
  13. Spencer could surely do better than Falkirk. Shows a lack of ambition.
  14. Not sure there’s any guarantees… both have pretty ropey injury records. Time was probably right for both to move on from us but great signings for this level none the less, both would stroll it.
  15. It looks like a slug. Rather appropriate for Falkirk.
  16. I think there were two sessions, only one was photographed. Different players in both.
  17. I wonder if we might be looking at Jackson Longridge.
  18. It’s almost like that George Foulks comments “but they’re running their club well deliberately!”
  19. Yeah I don’t care for all of his politics but then he probably wouldn’t care for mine. End of the day he’s a rovers fan and he lent a great narration to a fantastic wee film. I’m buzzing already for next season.
  20. Well, I managed to renew mine with no issues or difficulties at all… Think it will be easiest on the app.
