Vaughan doesn't really seem to have too many injury issues, aside from when he’s done his ACL. If one of those goes again (which it very much could) it’s surely curtains for him but if he avoids that then he will probably be fine. Gullan, however, really struggles to get a run of games together without an issue popping up, bit of a concern.

Quite a change in things with us beating St Johnstone to Murray and Dunfermline to Byrne this season. I’m all for it.

It’s a loan signing so I doubt money is a huge factor. I think what we’ve seen with many of our signings is the Potter factor, I’ve heard he’s been relentless when it comes to securing our signings. Maybe it’s that, maybe he just likes the look of our squad more than yours (bookies have us at a shorter price to finish higher in the league) or maybe he just wants to sit and charge his phone in our shiny new dressing room than in whatever get up you have at the KDM.

I don’t think a separate singing section is something that’s ever going to really work in league cup games against Albion Rovers, maybe we’ll see it again back when the league starts. As for the Murray situation, and given the lack of available defenders, I’m almost at the point of hoping we’re going to spin the wheel of fortune on a continental European. Would be good if we could tick off another nationality to have played at the rovers. Though I suspect these kind of pot-luck signing are exactly what we’re trying to move away from.

I’d be very happy with Murray but I would have thought St. Johnstone could, and probably should, be doing better than him.

I think, generally speaking, a good chunk of tickets for a game like this, where there won’t be much danger a sell out, people will make up their mind on the day or the evening before the match and buy their tickets then.

If you’re after a right back I wonder if McGlynn might go for Dave McKay. Released from QotS and McGlynn seemed to prefer him as a right back. Would do a job in League One.
