It looked to me like he was just pointing out the difference in strategy and rhetoric. Labour have clearly laid out plans regarding treating the smuggler's harsher etc. whilst the Tories have spent their time dreaming up scenarios of sending the poor victims to Rwanda etc.. Some people really overdo the both sides are the same stuff on here because it's politically convenient to themselves, it's good to have someone actually pointing out differences rather than the usual playing to the crowd stuff most do on here.

As I recall they had a single mega thread and it was 90% aimed at the politics section and people that posted there on both sides. Also seem to remember the main guy talking in weird personas like he was a wrestler. DOTL was definitely the number one enemy though. Impressive how much hate he managed to garner from them.

Yeah alongside the "out of context" accounts the "Insane Fights" type of stuff is heavily promoted and a lot more graphic than what you'd usually see floating about on Twitter pre Musk. Trying to adjust your feed is almost obsolete at this stage. I keep getting recommended shit videos of cats, I'm not interested and have pressed the "I'm not interested in Cats" topic at least 10 times but without a doubt if I scroll for longer than 5 mins I'll get a video of someone being stabbed to death and then a video of a cat stuck in a catflap with some shitty whimsical music.

That was perhaps the most deranged small time thing I've seen in the world of forums. Pretty sure @Ziggy Sobotka was a well respected poster on it in the end. I got temp banned pretty quickly and the guy kept sending me emails asking me to post again. Wouldn't be surprised if they're on some watch list for being utter right wing wrong uns. Yeah that's also something I found really weird about it, Bennett is quick to call out poor behaviour from our fans but secondly hes 99% at the wind up going for an easy bite so to see one of his posts and then try and point score about sexual abuse is really OFTW deranged behaviour.
