I've noticed teams clearing the puck all the time especially if they've got less players on the ice and nothing happens but everytime in the game when I clear the puck it's given as icing, how do I avoid this? Is it something to do with not chasing the puck down?

Funny you say that, although you're a god awful poster with absolutely horrendously low tier posts and patter and everything about your existence on this platform is completely forgettable I did actually wonder today how folk would react if he just shaved the lot off. Can you not just change your DP to that one Charlie Nicholson picture at this point? My first thought was it was obviously a handball, very surprised this one wasn't looked at. Like most people though I can't even pretend to understand what constitutes as a handball penalty nowadays, the penalty we conceded wasn't exactly an intentional or unnatural body position but I can see how it's given considering some of the bizarre ones we've already seen. Perhaps a bit of a shite opinion but I'd love it if we went back to the days handball was only for proper obvious examples and also the same with marginal offsides, always hate to see beautiful goals being cancelled out because someone's shoulder was a millimetre off.

Cantwell must have been watching some good stuff on yon tik tok over the past few days, had an exceptional second half and a man bun to enrage the usual suspects. Dessers is still absolutely rank and it turns out there's actually a player in Yilmaz which I'd never have guessed. Kilmarnock set up shop pretty well and it could've been a different game without the 2 quick fire goals.

I didn't realise you were a sensitive wee soul... I don't watch celtc games unless they're on the telly and even then I'll usually only turn it on if I hear they're losing, you sitting watching your rivals game on a stream and moaning about their players moaning is a curious way to spend your time.

Sadly I already have Viaplay for the football and they always offer a much better annual fee than monthly so I'm lumped in with them. I'll never be awake during the time the games are on but have been watching the full games the next day on the app. I must say I've learned so much about the sport recently I'm trying not to get burnt out by an overload of information so pretty comfortable just following NJDs right how. I have no clue about what metrics other than points you can even compare teams and players with but would be interested on an ELI5 level who some of the better teams and players are, like who is the Messi of ice hockey. Also I'm enjoying the NHL24, on an easy difficulty on a 27-6-5 season right now. I absolutley can not score 1 on 1s or do any dekes or whatever they're called.

Recently watched two movies for the first time in a while. I used to pride myself of looking out for innovative films and watching classics but over the past decade perhaps YouTube has destroyed my brain matter and I can't stomach 3 hour films even though I could watch the equivalent on a load of shite. This is something I'd like to change, I wanna rediscover my inner film nerd so after not watching anything for a few years I'm pleased to say after a full rawdog Napoloean at the cinema since then I've watched both Barbie and The Truman Show. It wasn't purposefully so but both films had lots of similar aspects. Barbie - 8/10 It could have done with less Will Ferrell and more of Margot Robbie looking sensationally gorgeous. I watched it with my sister and my maw and they were heavy expecting me to be perturbed by the feminist type of agenda but I thought it was all well done, accurate and amusing, I shouldn't be but I'm actually surprised the turbo right wing yank bros were taking issue with it, it's purely just an hour or so of fun bits and purposefully tongue in cheek. The Truman Show - 9/10. I knew I'd love it from ages ago and it's one I wanted to see but by george it's fantastically done. The acting from all involved is top tier and considering when it's made it stands the test of time. Can see myself watching this pretty regularly.

I've come to the realisation I'll never be able to stay up til 12 to watch games live so settled for watching the next day on viaplay and casting on to the telly, is there any alternative superior places to watch the games? Thoroughly enjoyed the devils game today and after getting the jersey and playing ample NHL24 since Christmas I'm obsessed. Didn't think I'd ever be as enthusiastic over a new sport as I currently am.
