It's not for me to say unfortunately. I usually wouldn't have posted anything but there was a lot of negativity floating about so I thought it'd boost morale a wee bit if I posted that some positive signing news was in the pipeline.

Just read that. He'd be a fantastic addition. With regards to Baird, does he have a young family? I can completely understand why he'd move to QotS if they train in Glasgow as it'd be easier for him maybe getting kids from school, not having to rely on childcare etc. Even if that isn't the case, I used to get pissed off just driving the 15 miles through to Dunfermline for work every day and would have killed for a job in Kirkcaldy. Might just be that he couldn't be arsed with the travelling. Whatever it was, his decision has been made. Onwards and upwards an a' that.

Having thought about the departures I'm now firmly in the 'f**k it' camp. If they want to go, let them. "Cheerio, thanks for your efforts and good luck at your shiny new club. Now who can we get to adequately replace you."

I thought we were very staid with Malone in there after we had Dyer bombing forward at any given opportunity. I genuinely feel a bit bad for Morton's supporters. A brutal season which has culminated in relegation below three part time teams. Missing out on what may be the best 2nd tier in living memory. Becoming the laughing stock of world football after their 10-2 humiliation. Getting a Nike stock strip that looks like they employed Stevie Wonder to superglue the badges on. Jim Duffy being assigned as the man to build them back up again. *snigger*

I'd have preferred it if we were playing in York but it's a decent wee fixture regardless.

I'm hoping the next signing news heralds the re-signing of McGurn, Watson, Baird and Hill. We'll be looking at a left back too on the assumption that Booth is required by the Hibees. Wonder if the manager will cast his net further than Scotland with potential new signings?..

Unsure.We'll definitely drop a striker or two. Barr coming in May signal the end for Reece Donaldson as well.
