Maintenance for the McDermid stand will be accounted for anyway.If the 500 seats put in the railway stand are the same as the ones in the main stand then there shouldn't be too much of an upkeep required.

Don't think anyone was grudging them the break. It was more Smith tweeting about going away shortly after we'd been pumped again making it look like he couldn't give a toss that bothered folk. It will be used again after next season as we'll be able to put smaller supports in there while saving money from not having to police/steward the far bigger McDermid stand. Money saved on energy bills there too.

The board will have done the maths. We're in very safe hands in that respect.Rangers will fill those extra 500 seats without any problems, as will Hearts if they are fighting for the title as they should be. The extra seats will pay for themselves.

I'd give Murray more time to prove that he is learning from the mistakes that have been made this season too. If we are as pish as what we have been since the turn of the year come November then it may be worth looking at making a change.

Many may disgaree but I think our deficiencies lie in the midfield area. I'm not doubting that our two regular starters there, Moon and Fox, are quality players but I've been more frustrated than usual at the space the opposition have been granted in midfield this season. I think it's a system issue, not personnel.

Having seen Robinson most weeks since he came to us I can honestly state that he doesn't fill me full of confidence.Both he and Ross Laidlaw may have suffered from taking over from the sheer brilliance that is Dave McGurn though.
