With the youngest at 4 years old I might be running out of these wee things they say that are wrong but cute as f**k....

Today my youngest was trying to explain to me she had pins and needles and her description was "my feet are all fizzy".

Superb.
My 4 year old won't cycle on any pavements that aren't completely flat.

Genuine question and in no way supposed to be cheeky - what is it about Southerness that you (and a shitload of Weegies) love? It's absolutely swamped in summer time with folk from Glasgow.

We stay about 20 minutes away and will go the odd time (went a litter pick a few weeks back) but I'd struggle to stay for any length of time.

Is it the fact it's so quiet that's the draw?

To be honest we only went as it was one of the only places with something for the kids to do(swimming and entertainment) that was available.

I could not stay there longer than a couple of nights,we have a caravan and are struggling to find places.

I found it clean and the other people staying there seemed ok although we never really talked  to many folk.

My son describes that panicky cry that kids do when they're getting told off as 'bumpy breath'. Very cute, as he always says he hates bumpy breath but can't do anything about it.

I've been once and it's fairly quiet when I was there and for me that's the big plus. With having the car plenty places to be going to so don't actually need to bide there . We were meant to be heading that area again last week but covid struck in this household. Wouldn't be in a rush back but its fine in general.

Ouch!

In 2017 my son fell at the playground at school and fractured his elbow (days before the Easter holidays). A few weeks later my daughter fell down at the soft play and fractured hers in the same place.

Kinda glad that these happened in public spaces. Imagine if they had both happened at home - the police would be taking a hard look at me.

Youngest granddaughter is waiting on an ambulance to take her up to the Royal in Belfast, as she has kidney failure.

They are going to try her with dialysis to see if her kidneys are working at all, hopefully dialysis will work, but she might have to go on a kidney transplant waiting list. I suppose one step at a time and see how it goes.

I've settled a wee bit now, I had her dead and buried 45 minutes ago.

She's been in hospital this last 4 days, last night one of the options given to her mother was take her home, fortunately she refused.

You've had a hell of a worrying time of it over the last week, can only hope things improve for the wee one.

Awful, awful news. Here's hoping for some positive news. Transplants can be incredible, so fingers crossed for the wee one.

Transplant is a wee bit down the line, it was just a consequence of her kidneys failing completely that a transplant would be necessary, she should be in Belfast by now, the ambulance was leaving Craigavon about 3.30.

Dialysis is the first option and take it from there, just waiting for more news.

She was snap chatted to her granny just before they left (for Belfast) and I wish I hadn't looked in, she looked absolutely awful.

On a drip, running tests, poison got into her kidneys, (a variant of E coli), specialist says it could be days  or weeks of care, condition will change daily, but it could be life threatening. (Maybe they just tell you that to keep themselves covered.)
