No what you should have finished your sentence with was "he got up and was hacked, elbowed, body checked and kicked for another 40 minutes, before the Rangers manager was forced to sub him to protect the lad from one of the Ferranti, Meadowbank, sorry Livingston thugs actually did do the boy properly." Your team was a disgrace and showed up Scottish football for being stuck in the dark ages, at a time when the game is crying out for skill along come the Scottish thug mentality where by trying to cripple lads is showing them what's what.

Poet of the Macabre
Can't believe are trying to do anything other than slate Burchill. He's made a right cock of himself and deserves all the abuse coming for a ridiculous comment.

Whilst I'm not condoning kicking the shit out of players, when Oduwa announced himself on the scene with fancy flicks and tricks to take the piss out of opponents when Rangers were a few goals up, he's got to expect some treatment in future matches. He'll be kicked wherever he goes because he's technically better than most and has an arrogance about his play. Messi gets booted all over the shop all time. I'd suggest Oduwa gets used to it and Rangers fans stop acting as if they've never had hatchet men playing for them.

One tweet from an idiot Berwick player is clearly representative of Scottish football I think if you add the shoulder-shrugging from the Livingston fans plus the blatant whataboutery from other Ps&Ds on the other threads you'll see that it IS fairly representative. Anyway, it's great being a Rangers fan on the moral high ground. it's been a while Edited October 22, 2015 by The_Kincardine

Theres been a few engaging in whataboutery but its hardly "the rest".

The Moonster
I don't think anyone who uses woeful patter like "Ps&Ds" can claim the moral high ground on any issue.
RandomGuy.
Vast majority of sides in the Country moving towards developing their own youngsters and playing a more expansive footballing game. Livingston player fouls Rangers player. "Scottish footballs stuck in the dark ages" Utterly blinkered.

Good job McCulloch wasn't playing for us then, no doubt he'd have elbowed Oduwa in the face a few times if he had. Gibbons is just a poor Jason Talbot tbh. Seen far worse treatment handed out to Scougall when he played for us, or Fernandez in our SPL days, the most fouled player in the league in our first season. All this shite just takes away from our well disciplined defensive performance that frustrated the hell out of deadco. Yeah, why Burchill brought nationality into the discussion I have no idea. Do you agree with what he said?....
bennett
I've only watched living play when they play us, a few St mirren fans have said that they played the same way against them. Do they play in that style in every game? Also noticed that the baldy player who smashed his arm into Oduwa is escaping a lot of the flak.
