peasy23
Why does Irn Bru taste so much better when consumed out of a glass bottle than, say, a can or plastic bottle? There must be a scientific explanation. Are the glass bottles not the only ones still only made in Scotland? That's why Think so. AFAIK the glass ones are made at Cumbernauld and the plastic down south. Different water = different taste.
Gaz
Plastic has a chemical taste transfer. Glass doesn't.

There must be a scientific explanation. It's the same with Coca Cola. Tastes far better from glass bottles. Costs a shitload more as well

Grim O'Grady
I was out feeding a couple of swans on Sunday afternoon. They were very tame and enjoyed nibbling on my Walkers Fruit Cake as I held it in my hand. Was that after Swan Lake? Grimbo
Cardinal Richelieu
I love ducks (not in that way) but hate swans. Went camping up at Loch Lomond a few years ago. As it was a lovely warm day, we put our carryouts in the loch to keep them cool. Two swans swanned in and basically plonked themselves right beside our booze. Any time one of us approached to get a can, they started rearing up and hissing at us. It was hours before they got bored of their little game and buggered off.
