Quick Question Thread

Recommended Posts

Any ideas what I can use to clean white pebbles? I have had them down at the front of my house for a wee while now (along with some purple slate) and they are starting to look a bit tired/dirty. Anything I can buy to spray on etc to freshen them up?

Karcher type power hose. Cleaned my garden rock collection with one in the space of a few minutes with one just last week.

I totally realise that makes me sound like some sort of loser / beast btw. (hopefully just loser).

PS. Seriously, I have a notable rock collection needing de-algaefied and de-mossed on a regular basis. I've been known to shout 'die you lichen scum!!!',although I have no personal memory of this.

I've got this.

Spray the pebbles with undiluted white vinegar.

Leave for a couple of hours. So best you pick a nice day for it.

Then rinse off with water. The pebbles!

If that doesn't work.

Aggressive eye contact.

Bleach.

Fingering, as equally aggressive as the eye contact)

^^^ Kate Beckinsale

When you are lying on your side in bed what do you do with your arms?

One under the neck, hand on a boob. The other in the crack.

Unless I'm sleeping alone, in which case...no, pretty much the same.

After popping into the local newsagents this morning, was left wondering - who buys those specialist male magazines on the top shelf in the age of the Internet?

Funnily enough when I was in for my paper this morning (QI klaxon at the ready for the obvious wisecrack fellas) there was an old boy stocking up on said articles. Bold as brass complaining to the shopkeeper that sometimes the dvd's "stick" too.

I remember wondering that when Craig Charles was caught during a crack 'n' spank expedition about a decade ago.

I assume it's still the auld boys who grew up with them and no alternatives. Maybe some youngsters whose parents have adult filters on at home; I certainly never bought any past the age of 16. Well, apart from when the wife's cousin in the US hit his eighteenth birthday - we sent him some copies of stuff like Razzle and 40 Plus as a present, as they're nothing like American porn. He said they were the most disgusting thing he'd ever seen

I've been asked if I'm going to my uncle's dad's funeral. Am I obliged to go? I've never met him and I'd have to take a half day off work.

Depends on how well you get on with your uncle, I'd have thought.

As a P&B poster, I'd be remiss if I didn't ask if there was any chance you've been left anything in the will.
