Anyone tried coffee bags? (Like teabags but with ground coffee in them)
Shandon Par I believe I have seen you mention once or twice that you enjoy a coffee....

Tried them years ago, like sandy brown water and you have to leave them to brew for longer than it takes to make a real coffee. May have improved since.

Aye, that is true, the bags need a good steep in the cup.

The advert implies they're a brand new thing. Clearly they're lying.

I'd think Taylors would be decent too Bairnardo.
A good shout too is Aldi Colombian coffee about £1.60 a jar. Nicest instant coffee around brother. [emoji106]
Nothing beats ground coffee but the Aldi Colombian instant one is very nice as a standby.
Azera Intenso and Percol Espresso Noir make a damn fine cup of instant too.

@Shandon Par I believe I have seen you mention once or twice that you enjoy a coffee....

A pal of mine spent years developing them, thinking nobody had thought of them before, only to find a shelf full of them in Asda one day.

Had Taylor’s (IIRC) ones in a hotel recently and they were decent. Way better than instant if you don’t have any specialist devices to hand for coffee making.

I think the best thing is to chuck coffee because it's rotten and the world's obsession and bizarre rituals around drinking hot brown water are weird.

Now that you've pissed all over the Bovril, are you going to start on the Pies, you monster?

I still have one at games, although if a sausage roll is on offer I'd pick that over a pie.

Got a new house phone a few months ago. It rang earlier for the first time, did not know what the noise was for a while. Does anybody ever use house phones nowadays?

That curious, now that you’ve said that I realised my house phone isn’t there. Apparently Mrs Mathematics has taken it for her office.

I'm not one to judge a man's lifestyle choices.
