1) probably too little to get them to come out to quote to then have to come back after you’ve price checked them. Everyone is run off their feet, piddly jobs ain’t a priority. Just get the local guy, he might deign to do it.

2)I think you might find the cost disproportionate to any benefit you may be seeking. However, you’re looking for a basement tanking specialist.

1) The landlord next door was doing jobs to prepare that flat to rent out and agreed to install it for £60. When the Great Landlord Guillotine comes round I'll consider putting in a good word for him.

2) I could do with some storage space that isn't going to infest with damp every winter. Have been suggested putting pallets down as a temporary fix, there's also space for rain to come in from the side/roof of the structure too that'll need sorted.

The collection of severed body parts getting out of hand?

He tried to dispose of them in various parts of town but got caught when he was walking down the street and the arse fell out of his carrier bag.

Somebody posted on here not so long ago about their renewal premium doubling from last year. Mine looks like going from £400 to £600 this year with no changes being made.

With new parts scarce and expensive, insurers and JLR have been happy to approve repairs using reconditioned, under 10 year old parts. As a result, various Land Rover products have become incredibly nickable. You can take away various Discoveries, Range Rovers etc using a laptop to hack the key. They can then be stripped and the parts sold into the legit market. Much easier than trying to send them whole to Dubai, Bulgaria etc.

Sounds like an awful lot of hassle tbh. I’ll just get Mrs Mullarkey to blow Senior Service puff in their face instead.

to be honest it's not as easy as printed. 5 folk deciding what music to play ffs

I've just uncovered a forgotten-about body wash / deodorant kit, almost certainly gifted at Xmas.

If the option existed, would it be equally acceptable to gift somebody a Colgate / Aquafresh toothpaste and mouthwash gift set? If so, why does an anti-BO kit exist but not a fresh and minty oral equivalent?

When do places usually start chucking out Christmas Day reservations?

It's usually around August time so they'll pop up soon enough.

Did notice last weekend that La Vita at George Square in Glasgow were advertising their Christmas menus so the rest won't be far behind.

What happened to Paulie's robot in Rocky V?

It rose up with all the other robots and set off nukes around the planet, forcing the survivors to escape into space as a rag tag collection of ships protected by a single Battlestar.

It was in the news, surprised you didn't hear about it.
