We’ll nobody decides that but my post was in response to a claim that one way or another we all prostitute ourselves every day we go to work which I don’t think is a valid claim.

I wasn’t saying OF work was degrading and my initial question was whether or not it was prostitution.

ah I misunderstood.

IMHO, I don't think it is, she's selling pictures not engaging in physical contact. To my mind it's remote stripping vs escorting/prostitution.

That’s my stance on it they are having sex with whom they want and selling the footage they aren’t being paid by the person having sex with them so think it’s totally different.

@alta-pete I think most of us are just programmed to work certain hours, don’t think it’s a choice. Certainly not for me.

Mowin' wi Flans? (18+).

Scuddy pics featuring lawnmowers and baking trays could bring the OF genre to a whole new, older demographic.

I think this magazine covered that sort of stuff.

A question on Factoring in Glasgow tenements.

Its not something that you see in Edinburgh tenements (I kinda wish it was, lots of stairs dont get cleaned properly) being confined to newbuilds etc.

My son is moving into a Glasgow tenement in August, and - outside of the obvious things like keeping the stair clean - its been mentioned that buildings insurance is included in the factor fee.

Does this mean that people living in these properties only need contents insurance?

I appreciate that to anyone who lives in Glasgow, this might be a daft question, but it simply doesnt happen here.

Thanks

It does, yeah. I think our buildings is around 500 and the factor spreads it over three installments, so 165 to them in March, July and October, say. I can DM you a couple of our invoices if you want, give you an idea of what the factor bills for and much you pay for it if that’s useful mate.

ETA - you’ll also find most factors go from benignly useless (James Gibb) to actively malignant (Hacking & Paterson).

The actual factor fee is pretty clear (broadly the same as yours), it was just the question on whats covered etc.

Thanks for the offer tho.

We get buildings insurance, stair cleaning, stair lighting (lighting goes to council, but factor collects it) and grass cutting for the green round the back as our ‘standing’ charges. Factor’s management fee is 14 quid a month.

So we were having our roof more or less completely replaced the week before last. Someone (maybe me, maybe not) left a bedroom window open by accident and came in to find a cloud of noxious white dust floating around the room.

We were off on holiday for a week the following day so I didn't get to do much about it, but noted a sinister film of white stoor over everything and knew Id have to tackle it on returning.

I've returned from holiday and set to work giving the room a deep clean. I have wiped everything solid with a damp cloth and hoovered the place. I'll get the curtains taken down and washed later on tonight.

I used up an entire bog roll working in the room as I kept sneezing, and having to blow my nose. I've had to stop for a break.

My questions are:

Will another couple of goes with the damp cloth and hoover sort this in the long run? My nose immediately starts streaming when I go in the room.

Would an air purifier do anything here?

Would I be better just moving house?

Going to assume that this is cement dust due to contractor using a cutting wheel on tiles.

HEPA filter vacuum cleaner Riz.

Probably right enough as we were having tiles replaced with new ones.

Luckily I do own a vacuum with a HEPA filter in it.
