chico
Yeah, the website is confusing as hell. There's far too much going on. Find the x scape phone number. Simple enough question to ask for prices and times.

The Ark's facebook group have just posted saying they'll have it on: Rangers v Malmo IS now live in pub tonight at 19:45!!! We have just subscribed to premier sports channel so they say it will be connected for kick off!!! If you didn't know, it's on North Frederick street which is one of the streets going up the hill from George Square.
Guest
Me and some friends are going up to Inverness a week on Friday, and coming back on the Sunday. Those of us coming from down south are meeting in Edinburgh and getting the bus from there, although there's a chance it could be Glasgow. I have a couple of questions about this because A) I'm a bit of a tard when it comes to stuff like this, and B) the guy at the train station was a bigger tard than me: 1) Is Citylink's site the best site to look on to get the best deal? Seems to say a return is around £25 from Edinburgh, I can't help but feel that isn't the cheapest deal. 2) Someone seemed to think there was student deals, as well as deals for groups. I can't see anything on the site about this, these deals real or horsehite? 3) Is there a specific time of day when it's cheaper to go? Basically, any info anyone has that will help us get to Inverness for as cheap as possible will be much appreciated, thank you.
Cowden til i die
Can you not get group tickets from Edinburgh to Inverness for 4 people for circa £42 with Scotrail? Certainly coming down you can at the moment because of the festival. Check it out.

Book quickly though, prices go up closer to the time. Edited July 27, 2011 by welshbairn

Whether there are any left for those days is another issue.

I looked on Scotrail's site and there is an option for a group ticket, although when you actually try to book it the option disappears. I will go down to Waverley tommorow and inverstigate. If it turns out we can get there by a method of transport that takes less time, allows for some drinking and costs less, then you are the fucking man. Try Megabus, from £5 each way from Edinburgh. Book quickly though, prices go up closer to the time. Thanks bud, the £5 journeys seem to take nearly five hours though so I'd probably rather ship out another £5 each way for the buses that get us from A to B quicker.
