BFTD
Jesus, I opened a can of worms with that pish question I'll give Welshbairn's anti-pish spray a try. It's not something you'd notice unless you got down on your knees and gave it a good sniff, and no-one but Throbber would do that. And he's not getting back into Palais de Tabby after last time
carpetmonster
Bladder control. What do you do if you need a sh*te in the shower though? Poke it down the plug hole with your toes? I believe the technical term is 'waffle stomp'; waffle owing to the little grid covers that they put on American shower drains
Bobby Skidmarks
Anyone recommend a restaurant in Edinburgh that's a bit classier than normal but isn't going to be booked out for tomorrow night? Anything close to town. Humorous suggestions welcome.

Cardinal Richelieu
The Khukuri is a Nepalese place that's not wanky but has tablecloths and real cutlery. The waiters are also spot on.

Not as good as the fish and chips in the Dalkeith Buccleuch though.

Maison Blue on Victoria Street does some pretty tasty stuff Nonna's (Italian) on Morningside Rd - bit further out but a really smart little place, family run and really top food Chaophrya (Thai) on Castle Street has great food and is a classy venue

Bobby Skidmarks
Skidmarks have you tried Shebeen? Thats that South African place, right? I thought it was more of a steakhouse tbh.
Shandon Par
Pierre Victoire is not fancy but does really good French grub. I went to http://www.wedgwoodtherestaurant.co.uk/ recently. Good service and really amazing food.

Bobby Skidmarks
I went there when there was a deal on and thought it was pretty shit. Cafe Rouge is better French food, we go there semi regularly with our club points I've been to Cafe Rouge a few times, its more of a lunchtime place imo.
Boostin' Kev
Had breakfast there when I lived in Leeds as we used to stay at Frederick Hotel (the place across the road) when back visiting and breakfast there was part of the deal. Thought it was ok wouldnt go for a meal though. La Garrigue is good for French food, girlfriend liked L'Escargot Bleu but I cam out pretty hungry, sure I grabbed a burger on the way home tbh.
Shandon Par
Cafe Rouge boarded up anyway. Might just be a refit/rebranding.
JamieT1314
Does anyone know anywhere in Glasgow that does a good Charcuterie with cheese (preferably French)? I know Boudior in the Merchant Square does it but just looking for other options.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
What the f**k kind of questions are these for the P&B? Wee French restaurants? Charcuteries? What's your beef?
endieinreekie
La petite folie, nice wee French restaurant just off the top of Queensferry Street
The_Kincardine
Does anyone know anywhere in Glasgow that does a good Charcuterie with cheese (preferably French)? So sad. Can't help. I'd pen you a wee poem in sympathy but I can't think of a cheesy French word that rhymes with 'quelle dommage'
