Quick Question Thread

Jesus, I opened a can of worms with that pish question :shutup

I'll give Welshbairn's anti-pish spray a try. It's not something you'd notice unless you got down on your knees and gave it a good sniff, and no-one but Throbber would do that. And he's not getting back into Palais de Tabby after last time

Anyone recommend a restaurant in Edinburgh that's a bit classier than normal but isn't going to be booked out for tomorrow night? Anything close to town.

Humorous suggestions welcome.

Los Argentinos in West Preston St is no three bad.

Not as good as the fish and chips in the Dalkeith Buccleuch though.

Maison Blue on Victoria Street does some pretty tasty stuff

Nonna's (Italian) on Morningside Rd - bit further out but a really smart little place, family run and really top food

Chaophrya (Thai) on Castle Street has great food and is a classy venue

Had breakfast there when I lived in Leeds as we used to stay at Frederick Hotel (the place across the road) when back visiting and breakfast there was part of the deal. Thought it was ok wouldnt go for a meal though. La Garrigue is good for French food, girlfriend liked L'Escargot Bleu but I cam out pretty hungry, sure I grabbed a burger on the way home tbh.
