Like the Thought Police, only more unseen and reserved. No violence or endless torture after the fact to re-educate people. Just an immediate, unspoken removal. Stuff like Dobbie's Loan or anyone with the surname, I've tended to hear as Daub-bee. Like the house elf, as has been astutely pointed out.
