Maybe he will be a success and maybe he won't but I would rather we tried to play football instead of just kicking it long up the park. M9 the standard of player in Scottish football is the exact reason we don't encourage this style. I wouldn't trust mvoto to pass wind let alone a football. Much like Bobby Barr, can't see any changes in circumstance to any loan deals going to or from Rovers.
Poet of the Macabre
Does Lewis Vaughan know you post everything he tells you online. I can't believe Rovers called Hughes "Yogi" on their website. Other than that, not much to make fun of, seems a good appointment.
Sloop John B
Falkirk fans are weird slating Hughes seeing as he is their only active manager to actually achieve anything of note. Guess they are just happy being slightly better than mediocre these days. On the face of it, a cracking appointment for Raith.

He won't be back playing at Rovers this season but I'm sure he will enjoy training a lot more. He's in at Glenrothes (I think) 2 times a week.

As much as I would love this to be true under Hughes as I reckon he would thrive with Yogi's style of football. Even if we were to recall him, he wouldn't be able to play for us again this season I'm sure. Edit- Never mind, just seen your comment above

If the team didnt still have the football in them at the start of the season that McKinnon left them with we would be in St Mirren;s position. Poet of the Macabre
There's a difference between trying to play football and aimlessly passing the ball around the middle of the park. The latter is in fact a very negative tactic.

The way he left things at our club and his utter contempt for the whole support due to a letter written by 2 p***ks who didn't represent the support is the cause for that. Add to that his whoring of himself for jobs in his last 18 months in charge. The man is a bellend imho.
