grumswall
Swap for Connolly & Longridge ?Both were released by dunfermline. Unless your talking about Jackson Longridge who I'd happily have at starks.

Wouldn't necessarily mind you if we got three strikers in to replace him, Buchanan and Duggan and they got 15 goals a piece then we'd be alright.
Raith_Rasta
Dose rovers get nix for Nisbet if he leaves? thought he was under contract?
pub car king
Rumours of a promotion clause in the contracts
pub car king
Nisbet will be away and good luck to him, he gave us 30 goals but the rest of the team were nowhere near as useful so he deserves a crack at a team in a higher league and probably more money too. I'm sure mcglynn will dig out a striker from somewhere was it not him who found he scores when he wants and the legend that is tade.
MoanEhRaith
Disappointing to see Nisbet leave, a bright spark in a dark season again. Good luck to him and as we say so often can’t stand in the boys way!
Enigma
Him leaving was always going to be the case once we were confirmed as stayed down. Oddly enough I don’t really recall him doing much else aside from scoring goals. Maybe one positive we can draw is we’ll have a more rounded player up top for us next season.

Tbh I couldn't care less if he sat and had a picnic in every game as long as he scored the goals
Michael W
Losing your best players is an inevitable consequence of being in this shithole league. Hard to take, but that's those harsh realities manifesting themselves.
ewan_fife
Yep, Nisbet met with the pars yesterday after a promotion clause was triggered in his contract. Should be announced soon
pantene proV
Far be it from me to deny the guy a holiday but it's not ideal our management team are away on their jollies when we're already couple of weeks behind most other teams in preparation for next season

stevoraith
It's a shame he's away, a fit Vaughan and Nisbet in the same team in league 1 would have been frightening. Lets just hope League 1 proves to be his level and he struggles in the Championship.
Easy Days for Raith
Is he actually away or is this all rumours and speculations?
Stevo Fife
Surprised at Nisbit. A relative of mine works for Partick and he was adamant they wanted him back.
King_Kozma
We would take Nisbet with open arms. I’m not so sure we’ll get him but fingers crossed.

Different rumours going round, the only definitive is that he won't stay.
Wullie McNaught
Nisbet was bodied over the two legs against one of the worst defences in the championship, his level is league 1. Good luck to the lad though, he’s had a fantastic season with us.

Particularly the home leg.
