Never really been that impressed by him against us but he's got a good track record at this level and I'd be happy to have him on board. Initially I thought it would be a 4-3-3 to accommodate all our centre midfielders but after seeing our signings I think we'll be seeing a 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 with Elliot playing behind Spence. McGurn Thomson - New CB - Hill - Donaldson Anderson - Fox - Moon - New Winger Elliot Spence Not a bad team at all. He was getting made to wait due to their takeover and we came in before they could seal the deal. Really impressed with Murray's signings. Paco Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 Yep, agree about Murray, he's made some very positive signings this summer. Hopefully this transpires into a good team as I felt with players like McGurn, Thomson, Grant Anderson, Graham and Spence we could've done a wee bit better last season. He showed signs of learning from mistakes he made - look at the difference between our approach in the Celtic games, for instance, while an exceptionally open 3-2 defeat at Firhill was followed by two 0-0's with Partick which we should've won. Hopefully we can build on this. Bobby Barr has the ability, or at least he did when he was with Livingston, but it seems to be his attitude that's the problem. Given the defensive responsibilities we seem to place on our wingers I'm not sure this would be the best move for us, but there's no doubt he can be a very good player. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
