So east Fife say they're not going to have talks with nacho novo.

Would love to see him back at SP!

Yes he's 34 but think he'd still be good enough at this level. id give him a player/coach role which I think would benefit both parties

Id only take him if he was playing at a reduced salary to come back, no point in overstretching ourselves for a player who's main strength was his speed which will probably be lacking now. No mention on these French boys as yet?

won't see them till pre-season probably when their fitness can be assessed along with their playing ability. Would also expect a few other faces turn up to try n win a contract

Glad we at least have most of the squad minus a couple signed up. Shame there aren't any away matches setup pre-season was hoping for a cheeky game at Spartans

Unless it's been cancelled we do have an away match....against Spartans.

Finances permitting, I'd have Novo back in a heartbeat. I haven't seen him play for a few years, but he's a character, and he'd bring real interest to the games. He's the kind of signing that would (metaphorically) sell jerseys.

He's also the only player other than Brian Graham to score more than 20 goals in a single season for us in the 21st century.

Novo would be a quality signing but I doubt he'd be on our radar. That would be a massive signing as it would certainly bring out a good number of Sevco-minded Fifers to see one of their idols.

Anyone else wonder if Cardle is waiting to see how the situation is going with Dundee and their Texans? Can't help but feel he's waiting to see if they can offer him a better deal, or if it falls through he'll look to ourselves.
