Scary Bear
I believe the term is 'whoooosh' So, is Malpas still with us?
Ro Sham Bo
Just curious, more so to them who don't think McKay is a good capture, even as a squad player to bolster Ando/Conroy, what else would everyone like during this window ? Obviously loans will probably be our only signings ... For me I still think we need full back cover, preferably a LB, but really Thompson/McKeown need someone in there to help if injury occurs or McKeown has his usual bombscare games, I suppose Barr can play LB but with Perry going out you would think he would be a cover for Hill/Watson .... Also wouldn't mind another Striker, I really like Vaughan, but if Murray doesn't have the balls to play him regularly then loan him out and bring someone else in .... I would be tempted to change the formation to three at the back, which would've meant we could have let McKay go, played Conroy at left wing back and punted McKeown onto the bench. We need another striker and a full back more than we need McKay I think. I know it's not easy to move players on at this time of year but we have a few I'd be happy for us to release if they could find other clubs in other to give us a bit more scope to freshen things up.
Ro Sham Bo
Just generally booooo! Be specific. Yeah. It's my review of Raith Rovers 2014 (excluding matches played at Easter road).
Scary Bear
I have a feeling in my water that 2015 is going to a good year for the roses...sorry, the Rovers. Barr will turn out to be a rock at the heart of the defence and Calum Elliot will return to form, with a comeback to rival Brian Graham, scoring 10 goals in the remainder of the season.
Scary Bear
Yeah. It's my review of Raith Rovers 2014 (excluding matches played at Easter road). Seems an accurate and concise summary.
sonicsco
McKay saying on twitter he disappointed not be long back to rangers. But ok with staying. Hope he did not just raise his game at the chance of going back to rangers and now be disappointed so his form drops.
Michael W
He has every right to be disappointed; they are 15 points behind the league leaders and have just sold their best winger. I don't know when his contract is up, but I'd be pretty gutted were I in that position. Conroy would be a hopeless LWB, btw. He isn't quick and tackling isn't among his stronger attributes.
Ro Sham Bo
McKay has probably just realised that playing for a club like us will be as good as it gets for him. Welcome to reality Barry, part time football will probably be your next stop.
1RonnieCoyle
jon daly on loan? peter macdonald on loan? id certinly be asking questions about the availability, daly not getting game time as much... good place to prove rangers wrong for not giving him a serious chance. same with macdonald at dundee, or martin boyle or phil roberts, these players probably wont play again this season due to dunfee signing stephen pearson and david clarckson and greg stewart and tanculic doing well..
Beachbum
Where's the money going to come from to pay a percentage of Daly's massive wage? Absolute non-starter.

Broken Algorithms
Please tell me Perry is out of contract Pretty sure it's the 5th January. Co-incidently, that's my birthday. That'd be fine on my part if Rovers fancy releasing him as a gift...

He can console himself with the now obligatory move to East Fife.
Enigma
Peter MacDonald on loan would be a great signing IMO, a more proven goal scorer at this level you will not find.

Hank Scorpio
John Daly To put this to bed btw, Conroy at LWB would be an unmitigated disaster.
basher brash
John daly ! Would rather have Arthur daly. To much mulled wine I think.
Scottydog
McKays re-signing must be a massive kick in the nuts for Anderson and Conroy as you can bet his deal will state that he plays more often than not, mind you if they're pissed with it I bet Lewis Vaughan feels ten times worse. Bringing in a goal scorer has to be priority No 1, other than that I feel the squad is more than capable making a decent showing in this league, but only if they can find some direction on the field. As individuals I would say they are on the whole a better bunch than those that have gone before (in the last 5-10 yrs) but as a team they struggle, is it simply down to tac-tics or a lack there of? I think our strongest starting 11 at the moment is: McGurn, Thomson, McKeown, Hill, Watson, Callaghan, Anderson, Scott, Stewart, Nade, Conroy Subs, Laidlaw, Barr, McKay, Elliot, Moon, Fox, Vaughan.
kev23
Cuthbert back in training but not ready to push for selection just yet. Kevin Moon 50/50 for Saturday.
1RonnieCoyle
i would really like to see us mix it up a bit, mckeown seems more than capable going forward as does jason thomson, so why not give barr a chance and play with a back 3? Mcgurn.. hill watson barr.. thomson mckeown as wing backs and a midfield 3 of anderson scott callachan then stweart elliot/nade.. the players he has brought in suggests murray had this in his plans.. mcgurn hill watson barr thomson anderson callachan scott mckeown stewart elliot
