Rovers1992/1993
I wasn't being sarcastic towards Rovers1992/93, I hope I was being sarcastic with him. Of course I was being sarcastic as well..I obviously didn't make it clear enough

Ro Sham Bo
Never mind the freezing conditions at the Ibrox last night, Hearts will be feeling the heat if we win today. 27 points behind with a game in hand. It's on! Let's hope the public come out in numbers today and support the team in their brave pursuit of the title.

Scary Bear
Let's hope the public come out in numbers today and support the team in their brave pursuit of the title. As they said back around this time in 2009 - Believe! Obviously we'll need to get Marvin the lesbian curer back if we are really serious about winning the league.

Scary Bear
Got mine already. Seat 1a on my living room couch. Same. It's my son's 1st birthday on the 8th. Heading through to Glasgow to avoid his party could give the wee man a complex.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Today is the first time we have won three league matches on a row since the last three games of 2011-2012. This could be stretched to five if you include the first two games of the following season.
Scary Bear
When will Calum Elliot score a goal? He's playing better, so hopefully it isn't far off. I'm contemplating organising a candlelit vigil if he hasn't scored by the Falkirk game on Valentines Day.

The same question but add Callachan, the boy is bursting a gut to score, when he does I hope he doesn't stop.

mojito
The boy deserves it, scoring that is. Lack of goals certainly hasn't dented his confidence. Every opportunity he gets to shoot he goes for it.

If Callachan could hit the target he'd be a goal threat. He seems to struggle with keeping the ball down.

Raith Against The Machine
A sad day for Laurie Ellis. Until today, he was the squad member with the most league goals for the Rovers. Grant Anderson has now joined him... on ten. We've got four players who've notched double figures in a Rovers shirt in all competitions. Anderson - 14 Hill - 12 Ellis - 11 Elliot - 10 Also, Jason Thomson will almost certainly make his 100th league appearance for the Rovers at Alloa next weekend.
Ro Sham Bo
Easy to see where our problems lie at the moment. We really need to get a decent forward on board.

On the park yes, The other problem is off the park where it seems a sizeable amount of our support people attending in the home end are just complete arseholes.
Scary Bear
Not really a subject for a Dumbarton game thread, so: how do we get the atmosphere back to Stark's Park? The good kind, not the booing and occasional polite clapping. What are your thoughts on the matter? Should we all chip in and send Calum Elliot to a sports psychologist to see if we can establish if he's carrying out some sort of unofficial strike due to repressed feelings of anger towards the support? Once this is resolved he may score goals again and the atmosphere will come flooding back into Stark's Park. Should we get cheerleaders? Should we have kids waving flags as players come out the tunnel? Should we play more aggressive music pre-match and at half-time? NWA? ACDC? Should we all chip in and sign one decent player every season who can actually get fans excited? Should we smuggle in hip flasks? Should we just give up and sit in silence? Definitely needs a poll on Fan(ny)talk. Edited January 18, 2015 by Scary Bear
